On September 9, 2002, Aldrin was lured to a Beverly Hills hotel on the pretext of being interviewed for a Japanese children's television show. When he arrived, Apollo Conspiracy proponent Bart Sibrel accosted him with a film crew and demanded he swear on a Bible that the Moon landings were not faked. After a brief confrontation Aldrin punched Sibrel in the jaw. The police determined that Aldrin was provoked and no charges were filed.[24] Aldrin dedicates a chapter to this incident in his autobiography Magnificent

The comments on that video are a bit annoying. Nothing will satisfy the conspiracy theorist nuts short of sending them to the moon. If it had been faked the Soviets would have known and would have told everyone. Instead they confirm it did happen. Given they were the US's main competitors in the space race it made no sense for them to concede unless they actually did lose, and they did.

I didn't read the comments.....sometimes idiot conspiracy theorists are more than I can take.

The argument about the Soviets conceding the race is an exceptionally good one that never occurred to me.
