They're beginning to see the light, Ocean. I think the biggest obstacle at this point is getting to admit that they were wrong to support the Bushites in the first place.

indeed. Pride/arrogance does have it's pitfalls and blindspots, don't it??

Maybe "they" will learn that to admit to a mistake takes more courage , and is more worthy of respect than to continue defending the indefensible.

kInda think that if bush and goons were to admit tactfully, and tastefully, that they made some humongous/erroneous assumptions in their desire to "get Iraq".......it might just change the whole tone of the situation.

It would certainly be a start. It would give the international community a chance to reach an agreement with the insurgents at the very least.

Sept could be an interesting time in the US......Washington. 8)

articles of Impeachment.

Once the media gets a good hold on this.......the momentum might increase. Will depend on how muzzled the media is now.

Mind you .......the media should be held accountable too.....for underplaying important issues.......and over playing "runaway bride" and other such......

Not one link on Saddam, Milosovec of Serbia, Kim of N.Korea, not one link on the Burma (Myanmar) junta jailing a woman who has been the symbol of freedom.
Not one link of pleasure denouncing those.
Not one. What September do they have coming ?

But that's okay.

RE: BUSH'S IMPEACHABLE OF

Nobody has ever doubted that those people are war criminals, Jimmy. It is unlikely that they would ever face impeachment as President of the United States of America though, since none of them ever held that office.

Two of them have their "September " coming. It will just take time and some legalities to get into motion. The other two will have their day of accounting as well. In time.

but , Jim... this thread is about bush. So bringing up these other misfits might not relate..........UNLESS bush and they fall into the same category.

These other bozos are a topic onto themselves and worthy of a thread just for them. Why not start one???

This is the final straw!!!! mom we gots to think about going down in a blaze of glory 8) I mean now he is going after the insects

A press conference on climate change hosted by President Bush went awry recently when he was distracted at a crucial point by a bee, severely limiting his ability to give coherent answers. Ordinarily the President’s armed guard ensure this kind of thing doesn’t happen, however in this instance they were pre-occupied watching the Chevy Case film Caddyshack on a monitor behind the scenes.

“It’s impossible to fight the war on terror when the very air we breathe is full of funny buzzing flying things” Bush said later in a prepared statement. He also declared that bees are agents of Saddam Hussein and possibly his pinky-pals in Al Qaeda. The Whitehouse confirmed that the matter is in hand and that “in future, the location of all press conferences will be throughly machine gunned beforehand to ensure no insect interference”.

Oi! mom! you gots to be kidding 8O nothing funny about killing bees. .....mmmmmmmmmm while maybe this will wanna make you empty yur six shooter......nice avatar by the way...
......rides off into the sunset....

As the war in Iraq goes from bad to worse, the White House has recently announced it is taking radical steps in the hope of bringing an end to the bloody conflict. “Following the highly successful War on Terror ™, we’ve decided to launch a War on War,” said Donald ‘HanoverClub’ Rumsfeld at a recent press conference at his palacial Washington offices. “We will accept nothing less than victory over the enemy, even if we ourselves are the enemy. Admittedly, that does make it difficult.”

Staff Sergeant Frank Emdeekay of the 82nd Sledging Regiment, the appointed commander in chief for the campaign, went on to reveal the strategy: “our involvement now is the only way to solve the problems caused by our earlier involvement. We’re going to move quickly and send in waves and waves of troops to quell the fighting between the Iraqi terrorists and the previously deployed Coalition forces. We shall overthrow the undemocratically installed government and free the country from the tyrannical rule of its oppressors, and by that I mean us.”
