At least a few hours with a pro to get a case history and find out if she actually did suffer any of the many possible complications of an untreated under active thyroid and any other physical or emotional traumas that may have beset her. Something damaged her pretty badly, and she appears from some of her notes to be a bit of a drama queen, not a pathology in itself but it certainly would have compounded whatever else happened to her.
That makes it unlikely we’d have met then, I knew only the permanent staff at Cameco. The one I was thinking might be you was the only geologist I ever heard say anything positive about a possible abiogenic origin of petroleum, which you also did here once many years ago.

There is no shortage of info about her but to be definitive, yes spilling the beans to a physcologist would clear it up. For a "working diagnosis" there is enough in the public domain where her behaviour patterns can be correlated to specific disorders.

Briefly, left Saskatoon in 98 for what proved to my final career change before taking advantage of a lucrative early retirement offer from a downsizing employer, which a few years later had downsized itself out of existence. Now I work for myself but only when I feel like it and only with people I like, so I don’t work much, don’t need to at all anymore, retirement planning is one major thing I got right. Best job I’ve ever had, mostly I indulge my hobbies and entertain grandchildren. They’re young enough to still think I know everything and old enough to have a real conversation with. I highly recommend it as a lifestyle choice.

I didnt have a choice but drop out of the game by taking on a partner with intent to buy out. Sold 10% of the last half of my piece every year for 5 years until I got all my CCAs depleted to beat the tax man.
Always good to try to beat the revenuers, though it’s hardly a level playing field. I’m convinced they believe every penny we earn belongs to them, except for what we can prove is ours, according to rules they get to make up. There are people at CRA who talk about something they call a tax expenditure, and I must have read about it a dozen times before it dawned on me what that means. It means money they could have taxed away from you but didn’t: money they let you keep they view as a cost to them.
My mom worked for them. I learned a lot from her before she was gone. Enough to file a T2 and farm with confidence. Its possible to get away with a few things that border on personal nothing big or itll cost. Things like nice wheels for the truck, weekend trips etc. If it can be resonably validated theyll stay calm.

LONDON — A former neonatal nurse who was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of seven babies in her care and trying to kill six others at a U.K. hospital will face a retrial on a charge of attempting to murder a newborn baby girl, prosecutors said Monday.
Lucy Letby, 33, was sentenced last month to life behind bars with no chance of release after a jury convicted her of murdering seven babies in the neonatal unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital in northwest England between 2015 and 2016. She was also convicted of trying to murder six other infants.
However, the jury of seven women and four men in her 10-month trial was not able to reach verdicts on six counts of attempted murder in relation to five other newborns. Letby had faced two counts of attempted murder against one of the newborns.
The Crown Prosecution Service said Monday it wanted to pursue a retrial on one of those outstanding charges, which involved a baby girl known only as Child K in February 2016.
Letby attended Monday’s hearing by video from prison, and spoke only to confirm her name.
A provisional trial date was set for June 10, 2024.
Letby was handed the most severe punishment possible under British law, which does not allow the death penalty. A judge said she acted with “malevolence bordering sadism.” Only three other women have received such a harsh sentence in the U.K.
The former nurse was accused of deliberately harming the babies in various ways, including by injecting air into their bloodstreams and administering air or milk into their stomachs via nasogastric tubes. She was also accused of poisoning infants by adding insulin to intravenous feeds and interfering with breathing tubes.
The victims were given anonymity and listed only by letters.
Britain’s government launched an independent inquiry soon after the verdicts that will look into the wider circumstances around what happened at the hospital, including the handling of complaints raised by staff who had tried to sound the alarm on Letby.
Prosecutors confirmed they wished to pursue the single count involving Child K but not the other five counts of attempted murder. “These decisions on whether to seek retrials on the remaining counts of attempted murder were extremely complex and difficult,” Jonathan Storer, a senior prosecutor in northern England, said in a statement.
Lawyers representing the other families described the decision not to seek further retrials as disappointing.
“We believe that the families of the further alleged victims still have questions that are unanswered and they deserve to know what happened to their children,” said lawyer Tamlin Bolton from the law firm Switalskis.
