By the way, it wouldn't have mattered even if the EU wasn't created. Us British still have to show our passports when travelling to another Member State, anyway, due to the fact that, unlike all other EU Member States except Ireland, Britain isn't a member of Schengen. So my passport was checked when I went to Perugia in 2004.

Barbarity?

LMAO!!!

My people had a participatory democracy long before yours even considered removing the power of the Monarchy, slightly!

My people fought for food and territory for pure survival, while yours used press gangs and wholesale slaughter for financial gain.

Barbarity, lol. That's rich.

And your people ate each other. And still did up until the 19th Century.

And whilst the British were inventing steam engines and trains, your lot were still throwing spears about.

It's alright if you like that stuff, but I am quite disturbed at the thought of an area of land the size of Europe having around half the number of people living on it than Britain has.

Seems to me that history supports the reality that so many people in such a small area has resulted in many, many wars and conflicts.

.. Sounds like heaven on Earth

Plus, Europe has some wide unpopulated spaces and untouched wilderness, despite there being 739 million of us in an area almost exactly the same size as Canada.

the unpopulated areas you refer too are in fact landfills.

Ya so? We're crunchy and good with ketchup.

Your point?

All humour aside and your pathetic deflection aside.

Your people were eating each other in a different manner, as well as eating other cultures, for profit and stature.

Only one of us wasn't doing it globally.

Can you guess which one?

It's not a small area, is it? Europe is the size of Canada. And it'sa not Europe which is overcrowded. It's Canada which is too empty.

So Europe has no mountain ranges and forests and moorland or vast plains or anything like that?

I can walk through for miles through the Highlands or the Cairngorms and not come across another person or any sign of civilisation.

Only one of us wasn't doing it globally.

Only because you didbn't have the technology and the power to do so.

If you could have done you would have done.

I must say, that even when an entire board gang-bangs the Baron of Bolton himself, Blackleaf toughs it out like a man.

Doesn't tell anyone to fuk their mother, no serious name-calling, no tantrums, red marks, infractions or ignores.

Not bad for an Englishman eh wot. ;-)

Ya that's it, you had the tech, so you get a pass for being butchers for profit.

Your position really is pathetic dude.

Not really.

You get on your high horse and call the British "butchers" and claim that the Native Indians were poor little innocent victims yet, if the roles were reversed, and Canada was populated by a highly technologically advanced and powerful civilisation that was able to project power around the globe and Britain was populated by primitive tribes with no knowledge of an outsidwe world then the chances are it would have been the Canadians setting up a Canadian Empire in Britain, raping and pillaging as you go.

That is the ONLY reason why you lot didn't do such a thing. Not bercause you are morally superior to the British, but merely because you couldn't.

And the native Americans probably killed more of each other than we killed of them.

He does redmark me whenever I praise Clement Atlee, but then even the great Atlee wasn't perfect...

It wasn't me who redmarked you for that. I don't know who that was.

Wow, I said that?

Maybe you should stick to the make believe you've created about how glorious you are and avoid making up things I never said.

It just makes your posts look more pathetic.

What I did say, is that with all your supposed enlightenment and technology, you were no better. And whereas we slaughtered for survival, you slaughtered for profit. Seeing as you brought up our aggressive nature, lol.

And the native Americans probably killed more of each other than we killed of them.
Maybe, we won't ever know, you guys did a good job at the killing.

That's funny. I always thought we looked after the Native Americans and gave them land to live on in peace.

That's what we did in America. It was after we left America that the butchering of Native Americans and the stealing of their land began. And it was the Yanks who did that when they decided to nick the lands to their west, not us.

And before you keep banging on about how the horrible British were treating the Native Indians terribly, remember that many Native Indians weren't even given the vote in Canada until the 1960s, long after everybody else.

LOL, you keep on going with the moral relativism, it's funny watching you stretch.

Whatever you do, don't ever let in what the British actually did, you might explode, lol.

We'd miss you.

Just as I thought. It's hard for you to accept that you lot were more brutal to the Native Americans than the British were.

So guilt-ridden are you North Americans at massacres such as the one of 200 Native American women and children and 90 men at Wounded Knee - over 100 years after the British had left - that you prefer to ignore them and concentrate on the supposed crimes perpetrated by the British against them.

Why don't you look at the crimes YOU LOT perpetrated against these peoples before looking to blame others?

It's also been stated that 96% of Native Americans were killed off by other Europeans BEFORE the British arrived in North America.

The Difficult part with Kenya was that the Highlands were too fertile to resist. You may want to read 'The Dark Eye In Africa", Laurens Van De Post's 1955 classic.

What do you think I am? American? European decedent Canadian?

It was the other way around BL.
Besides, my ancestors only settled the areas the Indians didn't want- like Saskatchewan....
