The employers threatened to fire protesters, and the employees CHOSE not to protest
I can see why: they are slaves to the debt based currency they earn from the real slavers at the privately central bank.
I guess that's a legal/work/personal choice issue

not what you said..

Hall of Fame driver Richard Petty, 80, said: Anybody that don't stand up for the anthem oughta be out of the country. Period. What got 'em where they're at? The United States.' He said he would fire any of his employees at Richard Petty Motorsports if they protested.

Red necks are part of the Louisiana Prison System rather than being drunk at a big party. If you get out you don't want to go back according to the one guy I know who has been there. Handprints on said neck replace the tan lines for the red part.

America, home of the free. Except you're not free to express your opinion if it means not standing for the anthem.

Look, it's real simple. All those people no matter what pro-sport they are in are paid employees. They aren't being paid to protest, they're being paid to perform. IF you want to protest, do it on your own time on your own dime. Period.

Personally, I think playing the anthem before sporting events is pointless. It's a friggin' game, you're not heading off to war.

And when you become a professional team owner, your opinion will be worth something.

Didn't the collective send you the memo? This is just the warmup for a much bigger event along the same lines. You minions are such small thinkers. First you have to take into consideration who is running this program and what aspirations they have for their own future.

2Th:2:3:
Let no man deceive you by any means:
for that day shall not come,
except there come a falling away first,
and that man of sin be revealed,
the son of perdition;
2Th:2:4:
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God,
or that is worshipped;
so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God,
shewing himself that he is God.

Ro:14:11:
For it is written,
As I live,
saith the Lord,
every knee shall bow to me,
and every tongue shall confess to God.

Really now fleabag? Would you expect any employer to pay an employee to protest some pet cause of theirs on the employers time and dime?
Seems a lot of people on here who don't own professional sport teams have weighed in on the subject. Yet you didn't feel the need to belittle them for their opinions. Why is that? Ooooo I don't agree with the collective therefore my opinion is invalid.

I'd expect any employer with sense enough to pour piss out of a boot to evaluate that employee's value to the employer in light of the employee's protest.

You seem to think that potential NFL starters are wandering the streets in large numbers.

You need to work on your reading comprehension. I didn't say your opinion was invalid, I said it was worthless. There's a difference.

People whose opinions of the NFL protests are valuable:

1. Owners
2. Team management personnel
3. Corporate sponsors
4. Season ticket/PSL holders
5. Regular viewers/purchasers of team products

For every player that makes the club how many don't, even though it was a career choice as far back as high school.
Why not bring in 'games' that are National in scope but the contestants start at regional levels. Rather than team against team it is player against a timed obstacle course. The QB might have to throw 100 or more passes on target before he goes to the next level. Being tackled by 6 men weighing 300+ would not be part of the contest. They would be off doing something more constructive. You don't bring a race horse to a 'ploughing' event and expect to take home any medals, let alone all of them.

Yes it is, and your full of it..
That's why I love your posts so much, righ on the money and you don't need purple ink to understand the English language. Guess we can move into the next phase of your transition back into the ranks of 'the emotionals'. If it seems like a lack luster start it is because the evaluation phase weighs in such exciting factors as energy expended against any possible good that could come of said output? (they are all test items so don't even ask)

A straw, seriously Alice, we need to have a long chat someday, . . .
