Evacuation after train derails in southern Canada, catches fire

Evacuation has been ordered in Canada's province of Saskatchewan after a freight train derailed, catching fire and releasing a giant cloud of black smoke.

The CN Rail derailment occurred near the town of Wadena Tuesday morning, CBC News said. A small community of Clair is now being evacuated.

There have so far been no reports of any injuries or damage in the community.

Even when they say you could see the smoke from 100 miles you have to take the location into account. Is rail how they move the oil from some of the exploration wells?
