From my research, according to tradition "sangre de Cristo" were the last words of a priest who was killed by Native Americans.

Looks like the kind of place where, if you hang around too long, you'll either be shot or dragged away by a drugs cartel and have your head sawn off.

Pretty much.. This area is run by the Cartels.. Well the whole city really, it's a border town. But there is sections they are more visible.

Honestly, if you want to trust people, the Cartels is who you trust, not the police.

The police are corrupt and paid off by the Cartels.. or anyone who pays them enough.. It's México man.. Money talks, and BS gets you shot 😉😂
