Indy wins 29-17! A good match though too long time wise because of the endless commercials. Luckily, I had my TV remote and went to the Travel Channel or ESPN when they were on.
Grossman was totally lacking in poise by dropping several hikes from his center. And his passes were well off their mark. I thought Coach Smith would have brought in Brian Griese who, at age 31, remains a good passer. In fact he ranks # 14 in NFL history and is signed up until to 2010. So far as I know, his knee (which has bothered him in the past) is OK. I though Smith could have made more adjustments at half time.

They were the better team, by far. Plus, Tony Dungy is a pure class act in a league full of rogues and criminals. And I am happy for Manning.

I was a huge fan in the Purple People Eaters era.
I don't mind the Bears but in all honesty Grossman would not make first string on any team in the CFL. Not even close to it. If they don't run him out of Chicago someone needs to give their head a shake.
Tony Dungy is a class act. Manning seems relieved about not having to be on that list of best qb's never to win the big one.
