I'd suggest mostly the dog reflects the owners' attitudes but occasionally, a dog can "snap". I have a cousin whose wiener dog chewed up his face when he was young, eg. And generally, dogs originally bred for fighting need extra attention because of the aggressiveness.

They put the dog down, to me the wrong bitch got put down. This just infuriates me on multiple levels.

Ava Jane was a beautiful looking baby. How sad that she arrived in a home that didn't want her.
