According to your 'bumping post' it's YOU that sparked this debate. You could have easily just said something like 'to each their own' or 'maybe those people saw something they liked' and such. But you didn't and decided to charge my view of it, and therefore 'sparked' this whole thing. If you're gonna start something you damn well better finish it.

ya know what... giving it a bit more thought...
"Those males who got hardons over Navi have some issues..."

Why is it after this statement that you feel I'm the one who should bow out with a 'to each their own'? Where is YOUR 'to each their own'?

Can you back that up with a real counterpoint or are you just content with baseless name calling?
Would you prefer childish?

People get turned by a whole gamut of different stuff. I know a woman who prefers her dog. I have known a lot of men in my time, and since that is quite a lot more time than you, it probably translates into more men too. I have no problem with your sexual preference, so I am left to wonder why you would put down someone else's. I can also tell you that different aspects of of women turn me on about different women. Nobody is the same.

Nope. I merely said that to say there's something wrong with them, is wrong. Starscream tried to define normal, not me. I said attraction comes in too big a variety for him to narrow it down to such a slim parameter being the norm.

Men are sex driven, why do you ask? Do they not bother to share that with you?

Being sex driven creatures, many men notice the things and people around them and develop an enjoyment of the features that hint at sex. For a lot of men (the kind who don't stare at nudity and porn all day), leg leads to crotch (to get crude about it), thus leg is enticing, the breast lies beneath the collar bone thus even the curve of a collar bone can be enticing, grace hints at thrilling ability in bed, and is a turn on. To put it in terms you understand, wide eyes indicate youth on an anthropological level, thus the 'draw' of anime characters and the stuff that turns you on, like Sailor Moon, even if you don't notice that's part of the appeal.

To say there's something wrong with men who like something just because they can find more about the female body appealing than big boobs and big ass, is flawed, and judging by the statements of all but two of the males in this thread, I think I can stand quite assured in my position.

Keep trying, you're almost there.

I never said butts boobs and cooch weren't desirable, or not desired over the other things. I simply said that the absence of them shouldn't preclude arousal necessarily.

as for eyes... here ya go... "Desired traits were large female eyes, small chin and nose, and these "infantlike features draw out in them the same caretaking response a baby would–they make a woman seem cute and adorable."[37] Further, high wide cheekbones and narrow cheeks are "signs that a woman has reached puberty" and "high eyebrows, dilated pupils and wide smile" signal excitement and sociability.[37] "

from
Physical attractiveness - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

grace and sexual prowess? Do I really need to explain the link in people's minds to you? I'd think MuchMusic would suffice, but, fine...

this article... Sexy people play the symmetry card - Skin and beauty- msnbc.com ... has some info into it (despite being a mere fashion article), including a reference to 'The Science of Sexy', which explains a lot about human attraction. One brief quote.... "With women, bodily symmetry is conveyed in the face but also how she mobilizes — how she walks, a more attractive gait. When dancing, symmetrical people are more attractive..."

Collar bones... I will simply suggest you google 'sexy collar bones' and delve through the plethora of hits yourself.

As for you being a boy... I can only apologize for that. You simply come off as a bit obsessed with cartoons and it made you an easy target in the light of some of the filth spewed over a mere comment that men can find other things attractive.

That doesn't prove that large wide eyes or collar bones are more are more inticing or desired than breasts, legs, butts, stomach or smile. All that denotes is 'cuteness' not sexy or sexualy appealing. Nor does it prove that grace hints at sexual talent in bed. Sexy collar bones? Is that MEN really want to see at a strip club (and yes MEN do go to such places), is that what they really look at when MEN physically check out a woman of interest, or what they yurn for in a sexual escapade or what turns them on?

Can you actually put any proof to your case, or are you just going to dance around the questions?

Oh yes Karrie, I'm the one who started the whole thing. After all I just put out my view, and your post after was a direct shot at me. Ah yes that's it, you attacking my post wasn't what triggered this whole thing. That's how a debate starts; not by the reply directly challenging the view of the original post, but the original post itself.

I wasn't taking a shot at you.... you said men who could get hard without seeing ass boobs or crotch have an issue. I said I would think there is more issue if those are the ONLY things that can get someone aroused. I'm done talking about it with you since you clearly don't get what I'm saying, and don't even understand what you said.

I have issues I guess. Watching how my wifey walks or dances sometimes gets me going. She also wanders about the house without a top on sometimes and she does her gardening with nothing but shoes or gloves on sometimes. I don't follow her around panting like a 14 year old who saw his first boob.
Boobs, crotch, etc.? I haven't limited my attentions to those few things since I was about 14.

Yeah sure. This coming from someone who can't even back up their arguments or claims with actual proof. Next time you start a debate with someone you better back up your arguments with credible stuff, otherwise keep your thoughts to yourself.

Just about every male on here has disputed your argument, so what proof did you bring here. All you really have proven is that you are shallow and have a fragile ego. Perhaps you should go back to your comic books.

It's the best movie I've seen years. It's by far the best 3-D movie I've ever seen.

I think a comparison to the original 1977 version of Star Wars is appropriate.

This movie is everywhere being advertised on TV, and one question comes to mind....

Why didnt we orbital bomb those aliens with spaceship like AC-130's? I would have

I wondered about that myself. Perhaps it was due to the fact that what was happening on Pandora was not sanctioned by whatever world government existed in the film.

But then I wondered about the same thing when I saw Starship Troopers. Also, in Starship Troopers why were no aircraft used against insect-like creatures that were confined to the ground?

Additionally, given the fact that Star Wars is full of robots why did Han Solo and Luke Skywalker man the guns of the Millenium Falcon? Check out almost any SF film and you are going to find things that don't make sense.

I finally did see the movie and I was impressed enough to want to see it again. I'd like to see it in the IMAX format but that will have to wait for my next trip to the mainland. We don't have an IMAX theatre on Vancouver Island
