The police have not ruled out terrorism, so do you know something we don't like the attackers motive and who he was..??

Boom, I read from your own link and got not just the name of who it was, the guy was known to the victims and while I would personally label it terrorism since it seems he went beyond the vic's he knew, he's not listed as Muslim in any part of the link you gave.

Right now unless things changed since I read it this am and got up just a little bit ago, that's where things stood. On your Canadian link.

Automatically assuming EVERY mass casualty incident like this is all because of a Muslim is - simply - being effin lazy and exempting the nutbars of every other human type.

Man charged following standoff at Edmonton Young Offender Centre

A 23-year-old man is facing numerous charges following a standoff with city police at the Edmonton Young Offender Centre Sunday afternoon.

At about 4 p.m., a man came to the centre on a personal matter, Edmonton police said in an update Monday night. When he was turned away, he allegedly threatened the staff and showed what appeared to be a handgun.

Staff secured the area and the man was locked inside the entrance. Police arrived shortly after and contained the outside and inside of the centre and negotiated with the man for about three hours before he surrendered.

Upon closer inspection of the reported handgun, police determined the man was carrying a Crossman SNR357 Snub Nose air soft revolver, which uses BBs or pellets. Eleven grams of cocaine, stolen IDs and $8,800 in cash were also found on the man.

Mohamed Abdela-Alnur, 23, has since been charged with use of an imitation firearm, pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, assault with a weapon, uttering threats, possession of stolen property over $5,000, three counts of possession of an identity document and possession for the purpose of trafficking.....More
