I'm racist.

You can't grow up in North America in the late-20th, early-21st century and not be racist. It's pervasive.

The key is to use your adult brain (if you have one) to correct your misperceptions and to treat each according to what she is, rather than what you've been trained to conclusively presume he is.

I am racist. I happen to think the human race is better than say mosquitos, flu viruses, etc. Humans vary genetically less than 0.1% (that's less than a tenth of one percent) from each other. Phenotypes don't really matter, human constructs are what really matters. Stuff like political and religious views.

If I lived in a community where the the majority was black some of my best friends would be black.
As a matter of fact one of my smoking partners in high school in the early 60's was black
What we had in common?

We were the only ones who rolled our own.....
