I was there Monday. The evil pricks were selling corn for 10¢ an ear. 10¢? Where do they get off selling cheaper than I've seen in the past 30 years?

omg those benevolent capitalists giving us cheap products - let's ignore the unseen costs and worry only about our own wallets.

who is this utter tool bag?

One reason people shop at wal-mart...you can't beat the price.

Second reason is they will refund your money on anything, even if it's open, with a receipt.

Third reason is that they are a one stop shop for everything, if your looking for good prices (and don't care about the quality).

Now that's it Christmas time... try and not shop at a Walmart..

The refunds on electronics are very narrow ...14 days, I believe. I bought an electronic present a couple of years ago ... a tablet ... I found a considerably better deal on the identical unit and returned the Walmart item. I was on about day fifteen and they did their manager override thing and took it back reluctantly but with a warning. It was still packaged and unused ...and not yet given as a gift. If you buy something electronic at say, Christmas and it isn't immediately before Christmas, you may have trouble returning it even if it sat defective but unopen under your tree for two weeks.

You were doing well until the last sentence. I've never had a problem with any T-shirts and jeans I've bought there & their paper clips are as good a quality as you'll find anywhere.

They are a mixed evil and blessing I am afraid. We were subject to the dictates of
local business at one time Shops took Wednesday afternoon off and closed on the
day of rest. The little general stores had a saying like the Song Bill Jones General Store
"If I ain't got it you don't need it"
The problem is Walmart does drive down the standard of living in many areas and it
does not does do what the hell it pleases but as all things Walmart is coming under
some pressure from the emergence of the Dollar Store generation.
Remember 8 track stores and the rental movie stores? How many are left?
McDonalds tried to go for the next step up on the revenue ladder and they are under serious
pressure from other food outlets.
These big stores are like politics they forget who made them number one and they make
a mistake that mistake takes a long time to be seen but it shows up and ten years from now
we will be saying the same thing about the next big store chain Walmart will not be on top
forever
