The apocalypse of God has been taking place throughout human history and is recorded in the Biblical record. The centerpiece of this revelation is Jesus Christ and His relationships with Israel, the Church, and the inhabitants of the earth.

The culmination of this unveiling is recorded in the book of Revelation. It is orderly and timely in keeping with the character of God. The main aim of the apocalypse is restoration. God's creation and His reputation are slated for renewal.

This renovation begins with the family of God. In Revelation 1-3, Jesus Christ is in view as He evaluates the Church, approving and reproving in accordance with His vision and empowerment for His Body.

The revival continues with the inhabitants of the earth. In Revelation 4-6, the Lamb of God is in view as He authorizes the removal of restraint on the corruption of mankind. This unparalleled separation from God releases global conquest, conflict, famine, disease and death. An unprecedented ingathering of souls ensues.

I believe in the light. I could never explain the light to anyone, but I do believe in the light. One of my daughters favorite verses, and she is not Christian or any other faith, is this one " and the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not''

And I do believe that the light was in the man Christianity calls Jesus.

The Bible teaches reincarnation happens once.

Job:14:14: If a man die,
shall he live again?
all the days of my appointed time will I wait,
till my change come.
Job:14:15:
Thou shalt call,
and I will answer thee:
thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.

If you look closely you might find something in Ecclesiastes.

I follow reason, science, and my intuition and emotions. I do not need anything else and do not want to lead. Hubby seems to be the same, so we walk beside each other; neither leaders nor followers are we, not even to our kids, who have their own minds. This family shares. =)

In the old books it were the reason struggling with the emotion brought to conjunction by the carnal, the beast, the mud. How's his beardship Lester? I hope you haven't worn him out?

There is the fate that shows when all people die the breath of life goes back to God. The part below (and more in the chapter) that is about growing old and you have a few teeth to grinding food and your vision dims and your back cannot carry loads anymore.

Ec:3:20:
All go unto one place;
all are of the dust,
and all turn to dust again.

Ec:12:7:
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was:
and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Ec:12:3-5:
In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble,
and the strong men shall bow themselves,
and the grinders cease because they are few,
and those that look out of the windows be darkened,
And the doors shall be shut in the streets,
when the sound of the grinding is low,
and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird,
and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low;
Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high,
and fears shall be in the way,
and the almond tree shall flourish,
and the grasshopper shall be a burden,
and desire shall fail:
because man goeth to his long home,
and the mourners go about the streets:

My girls were always encouraged to develop their own thoughts on things. My two oldest have faith that leans toward Christianity. My baby girl is an unbeliever in religion.

http://www.thunderbolts.info/wp/ Hard core light there at the link. An introduction to God. That light is in sparrows and worms and trees, just like the older sounder religions said it was.

Christ is always incarnate, every breast beats because, what we whorship is the light. Thank the father for the Sun. The Sun is Jesus.

"Immediately after the distress of those days, 'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’" (Matthew 24:29 NIV)

When the Son predicts the darkening of the sun, is He referencing Himself, DB?

'the sun will be darkened' - eclipse of the sun

and the moon will not give its light' - eclipse of the moon

'the stars will fall from the sky' - meteor showers

'and the heavenly bodies will be shaken' - supernova

To answer your question, DB, both. Christ was once incarnate and is eternally spiritually existent.
Flesh and blood
Ge:14:18:
And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine:
and he was the priest of the most high God.

I like the beatitudes

The final beatitude recorded:

"Then I heard a voice from heaven say, 'Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.' 'Yes,' says the Spirit, 'they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.” (Revelation 14:13 NIV)

What do "die in the Lord" and "rest from their labor" mean?
