Is Weiner art now?

Former New York congressman Anthony Weiner is looking for a way to make some money as he prepares to step down as CEO of a Brooklyn countertop company — by selling a shot of his junk.

The disgraced politician and convicted sex offender is considering dabbling in the world of NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, which are basically one-of-a-kind, irreplaceable digital assets that are traded on blockchain technology. Or in a less high-tech explanation, it’s data representing something unique that allows the owner to prove the asset is theirs.

Weiner’s hoping to capitalize on his infamy from 10 years ago, when he accidentally posted a link on his public Twitter profile that took readers to a photo of his erect wein… er, penis bulge barely concealed by his boxer-briefs.

It was that May 2011 tweet that marked the beginning of the end of his political career. With little success since then, selling “political collectibles” may just be the ticket.

“Cashing in would be nice,” Weiner told the New York Times.

And it’s not only NSFW NFTs. Other digital tidbits he’s considering selling include a copy of the FBI’s search warrant that was seized during the investigation that uncovered his sexts with an underage girl, a duplicate of a cheque Donald Trump donated to one of his campaigns, and an email from Jon Stewart, in which the comedian and late-night host apologized for cracking jokes about him.

No word on whether his other sexts, under the alias “Carlos Danger,” would also be up for grabs.

Weiner detailed that the NFTs would allow him to “sell my stuff” and also “create a new category that lets people buy and sell political collectibles as a form of political fund-raising and contributing.”

Weiner told the NYT that finding work has been difficult since having to register as a Level 1 sex offender. And while he vowed to never run for office again, he believes he’d “be really good as a campaign manager,” though admitted his notoriety would hurt potential candidates.

“It’s very narrow — the places that I can work without having The New York Post just make everyone’s life miserable,” he said.

He does have another money-making plan: writing a book about sex addiction to help those like him. In fact, he has an agent currently shopping it around.
