I would have thought Luxembourg would score higher. They're tied with us!

Well, no matter how bad some might think things are here, I say no place like home :)

"I strongly suspect that there is a strong correlation between peace and happiness," said Ronald Inglehart, a political scientist at the University of Michigan's Institute for Social Research, who directed the study.

I wonder, how many years of studying at a University it took him to come up with such a fresh and unexpected idea? (Where are the sarcastic smilies?) And note the fact, that he is not 100 percent sure about it, he just strongly suspects!
I strongly suspect that there is a strong correlation between rain and wet feet. Where can I publish the results of my revolutionary research?
Besides, happiness is something that cannot be defined by a universal set of criteria. It's very individual.
