Back in 1948, the Jews could have been given "Utah." The Jews might have outnumbered
the Mormons, and it would have been much easier (logistically) for the USA to prop up
Israel if it was located between Idaho and Arizona, and between Nevada and Colorado.
I wonder what Isreal's NFL Team would have been named?

Nope, Florida would have been better. Weather's milder and they could have rented out their condos to New Yorkers. Sure, there are hurricanes and alligators, but they could have built a wall around it.
And Floridians would have been pleased to give up their homes and land for peace! But as far as right of return is concerned, well....

I figured Utah as it's a drought stricken desert like piece of real estate that might
feel like Israel, with a current religious population to be displaced. Florida works.
Israel could have been the American shield back during the Cuban missile crisis too.

I guess it would have been a bit tough for the British to give the Jewish peoples an
American state shortly after WWII though. Oh well....
