Americas Cup

Americas Cup starts in March.

Its an expensive game, the yachts start at $220 million and you need 2 to play.

Only 4 teams in it.

Team NZ, EOS “Brittania”, American Magic “Patriot”, and “Prada” from Italy.

Team NZ on “Te Aihe”, Maori for dolphin has exceedef 100kph (56 knots) in 25 knot winds.

Bad news for Team USA, in the Louis Vouton Cup, which decides who gets to compete in the finals with Team NZ

TEAM INEOS Britannia is doing well.

Amazing to watch, they look like they are speeded up like in the movies, but literally fly.

And that's a drop in the ocean compared to the litigation costs!

Did you know the Americas Cup was a originally a trophy for a sailing race, before it became a trophy for litigation practice?

Amazing it costs so much for one of those little boats.
Just put on a speedo and pick up a gal who owns one!
:)

On the other hand my last boat was a early 60's 14 foot sears hull with fins and it had a rebuilt 65 1968 merc on it and it did 50 MPh - 400 CAD straight up.
:)
that was fun.
