You didn't answer the question and the 'attempts' at mocking serve solely to display your fear that AB/SK may show you the door thereby removing a large part of the national GDP.
Fact is, the West doesn't need Canada, but Eastern Canukistan will sink without the West. I think that you know it and your tantrums are nothing more than a sad expression of the fear of what's to come.
Anywho, thanks for the Fed dollars all the same

Boring.....

So?

They still reduced the debt.

Hilarious.. They clean-out the EI and CPP funds (that they still owe the money on) and pay debt cause trudeau senior drove th ecountry to the brink of bankruptcy.

So, all they did was change who they owed the money to, right?... Didn't really pay the debt at all

Boring.....

Yet true.

Check out the stats re: # of retirees projected in the next 5-10 years vs # of actual workers in Ont, Que and the Maritimes..... Not a pretty picture

Is this why the Financial times are running endless articles claiming that reduced immigration to Canada will collapse the economy?

The feds gave away $2.2 billion to cities the other day.

I' sure Edmonton and Calgary and all the rest were there with their hands out.

Don't worry everyone - Ottawa is going to take care of you.

Socialists
Alberta’s United Conservative Party to apply for federal emergency wage subsidy program
According to the UCP, it is applying for the program to cover employees’ salaries as donations to the party have dwindled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“As we had previously noted, our fundraising opportunities have been restricted during the pandemic and we have lost fundraising events in our 2020 calendar due to the restrictions on gatherings,” UCP director of communications Evan Menzies said in a statement to Global News.

Nice to see a little bit flowing this way finally. As opposed to the flood that's been going west to east over the years. A trickle in this direction is better than nothing.

Kinda like taking a cash advance on yer Visa card to pay the minimum balance on American Express?
Any of this sinking in yet?

They should have eliminated EI, CPP and OAS.

The provinces should also do away with welfare.

Nobody is brave enough to do it though.....shame that.

Btw, balanced books for ten years and Frazier Institute approved.

Think of the money they saved by not searching the desert for WMD’s with the Yanks.

Like paving over quicksand looks good but does it fix the problem.

If it is such a big deal why didn’t lil Steve fix it or PM blackface?

Is it mentioned in any policy papers by the clowns running for the CPC leadership?

Read the paper by the Frazier Institute.

Sure, eliminate it starting today, but all the cash that was kicked-in (forced by gubmint) is still OWED.

What is so hard for you to understand on this?

That would include all money's put in by our employers on our behalf, as well as ourselves, with interest compounded.

Harper did address the EI raid by shortening benefit periods and hiking rates due to shortage of funds in reserve to now where there is a surplus big enough for Trudie to raid again.

EI has been in surplus since then and the cons used those surpluses as well.

36 cents of every dollar taken in was paid in interest on the debt. Investments were rightly reduced to fix the most pressing issue at the time. In 1997 they began to process of reforming the CPP and why they created the CPPIB. I’m surprised you and Peter aren’t on it given you’re both economic geniuses.

They did a good job of getting the footing placed for future investments. What governments did after them isn’t their fault.

I know it hurts your feelings.
