Alberta Independence Party growing fast

Looks like the next election may divide Canada..

Mr. Hill does have some good points. We need an 'electoral college' of sorts so that bigger provinces can't rule the roost over the smaller ones as it is currently.

Having said that, the fact that Alberta is "land locked" would not guarantee the province would be successful as an independent province. We'd have to convince other provinces to join which in and of itself would likely be difficult. B.C. would not be interested at all since they have nothing in common with us at all. Even if we got Sask & Man on side, what benefit would there be? A pipeline to the Hudson's Bay? Is that even doable?
