BC has already achieved its targets with a carbon tax.

That is the most left-based carbon pricing model.

It hasn't negatively affected the economy either.
They only made winners and losers with their carbon pricing .
Now forest companies are getting kick backs for replanting logged ground , which used to be part of their commitment to log .
And school boards are paying carbon taxes on schools so government can support multinational logging and mining companies .
Yup working as intended .

It's not smoke and mirrors at all.

They take carbon tax revenue and use it as an incentive for companies that reduce emissions. Any excess revenue goes toward reducing income tax and corporate taxes.
So crony capitalism , great lets make some rich corporation richer at our expense .
