Chomsky. A hateful irrellevant hack, nothing more. The lefts Ann Coulter, without the boney ass.

Who do you read, RCS. I would in fact be very interested to know. Although I quote Chomsky a lot because he is a very learned man, I of course read widely around every topic of interest to me. As a retired individual, I expect you have a lot of time to read each day. Today, for example what did you read. My reading today included The Kingdom, Arabia and the House of Saud by Robert Lacey, The Burma Road by Donovan Webster, The Search for El Dorado by Michael JOseph and the Diary of Freda Kahlo. and when I say READ, I mean READ froom front page to back page fully. I even take notes so I can refer to them later. And I am not retired, so I expect you have been able to top my list.

Which of Chomskys books have you actually read...... I have read all of his that I have been able to find... and I have taken notes, so you see I am not just a mindless warbling idiot. I am actually a very learned individual and every now and then on this forum I can tolerate no more of the pomposity of some of the posters who love to slam things but clearrly do not have the research behind them . So what did you read today besides the pension statement I am paying for...... And lets hear some supporting evidence from your reading to show why you feel that Chomsky is a hateful irrelevant hack...........please feel free to quote him..

A new tactic Cortez? Now you are going to attempt to discredit me on what I have or haven't read. You might want to try and come at me from a different angle.

Those who qualify their expertise on the percieved knowledge of others (like Chomsky) lack real life education.

You can entertain whatever estimation of my education or reading you want. The difference between you and me is that I mean what I say, you on the other hand define yourself by anothers ideals.

Keep trying!
M
As a footnote: You remind me of Tom Cruise.

Yup, didnt think you would be able to come up with even ONE book you had read today.

You note that my other books were not by Chomsky....perhaps youd like to diss those authors too just because I have read them.

I am not clear what your expertise is based on.... the trenches......

I certainly have estimated your level of education...oh dear...... Um that last statement of yours doesnt make any sense. You still have based your ideals on something.... I have indicated some of the people who influence my ideas..... lets hear about some of the people who influence your ideas, be it your commanding officer, be it your wife, or be it the paper boy down the street.......or be it some book which I would go and get to read myself so I could discuss it with you......

my advice to you is go down to chapters
with 200 bucks
and buy a copy every noam chomsky book theyve got
read them
underline the important points
think about them

boy you sound as intelligent as your avitar would suggest. Don't you see that reading and blindly following authors like Chomsky and Hurtig who have specific agendas they are trying to push just as silly as watching Bill or Coulter and mindlessly following their agenda. Fact is everyone has a point, Hurtig might have a few points about NAFTA, just as FoxNews might have a point on issues such as McKinney attacking a security official on capitol hill then turning around and playing the race card and summon another one of them clueless celebrities (this time it was Dany Glover  ).....while other news networks refuse to ever mention the race card factor. Point is everyone has a point....left and right, but you and you broad generalizations about the US simply makes you look as dumb and your avitar

RCS may I answer the book reading question for you? Okay I will anyway. As I retire for the evening I am going to recommend a book for Cortez and Beav to read it's called "Kama Sutra" the modern version. Lads get this book, it will put a smile on your face and it has pictures 150 color photos. RCS I leave the dark forces with you until tomorrow. Sassy over and out.

Cortez. I can smell your anger from here. The only good thing about this exchange is that your attempts at discrediting me have brought you back from the Land of Gibberish.

Understand this laddy. I am read and educated, but I am not so impudent in my self confidence that I need to qualify it to you.

By the way, your off topic. If you could manage to stay on topic without spewing your usual rhetoric you might be just a tad better at defending your beliefs. If you actually had any to begin with. (Support whose activists)

Thanks for the debate or lack thereof.

I never blindly read any author. I read history. By many different perspectives. I read about geography, art and music. These also are relevant to world events, as is medicine, religion and economics. You guys all hate quotes from Chomsky because his facts are difficult to dispute and are so disturbing.

My reading list long ago included this book of course, and I have long followed its methods.

You can run but you cant hide. A debate stands by your ability to present facts to support your ideas. Yawn on your posts as you cant do this. Gibberish smibberish I am just conversing on your level. Read a book and learn.

I can respect someone who disagrees with me. Unfortunately you don't disagree, you're just a button pusher (Cut and Run/support whose activists) and you simply want to infuriate.

In my short stay I have differed with Jersey, Fiveparadox, Finder and others. But their argument had substance and invoked thought.

I suppose this is how you and beaver get your kicks, just working overtime to insult people and create chaos.

I tried debating you Cortez, I even agreed with you on a couple of points, but much like DarkBeaver you bring little to the table, but nonsense.

Good luck with that

i bring you a light so bright it makes you see the waste of your brain washed mind
i given onto you the truth and yeah refuse to see

cut and run
you will do it
its just a question of when
because when things get really hot over there
and they will
most soldiers will begin to doubt the righteousness of their cause
as most american soldiers in iraq doubt
since of course there is none
as the perpetuators of the 911 attacks are ---- dead already

so cut and run now
and give the finger to Bush AND BLAIR

i give them the finger from where i am and look forward to their failures
so far i havent been disapointed
