A Psalm of Muslims

[Torch light]

The psalm is a prayer to God in private or in secret, that is, between the servant and his Lord. There are so many prayers derived from the Quran; the Quran contains many prayers for different situations and circumstances of the individual.
I select this prayer which is read almost every night of Ramadan month of fasting, which is the current month.

Praise be to God Who:
lifts and confirms the weak, as He abases the arrogant,
breaks the mighty,
overtakes the fleeing one,
punishes the wrongdoer and transgressor,
rescues those who ask for His help,
answers the request of those who request,
He is the Trustee of believers.

God's Way of Dealing with Transgressors and Wrongdoers:
(Such were the cities [of ‘Aad, Thamood, and others], which We destroyed when they wronged [the messengers of God and rejected His revelations]. We stated a time for their destruction.)

Therefore, this is God's way of dealing with wrongdoers and transgressors: He destroys them.
