roflmfao, so in other words, you can't back up your bullshyte.
No, government welfare is like a drug, and while it is true that Americans are hooked, we are not as hooked as countries that get their national pride from the welfare state. We will have a far easier time weaning ourselves off the government teat than Canada and Europe.

. America has a different philosophy than Canada-Europe.

indeed it does. And that's a good thing.

Now perhaps your mother, when she refuses to go to the US to have you pay for her health care, is telling you what she prefers. Isn't that what you call, oh, what is it, I remember, 'freedom'? Let her decide what she wants to do?

Funny for a guy that hates Canada to come in here and tell us we are going bankrupt.

What's the US deficit again?

Up until the reccession that began in the good ole USA because of greed and poor regulation we were posting surpluses.

Loved it when our PM was giving lessons to Yanks on our superior banking system.

Maybe it's time I bought some land down thar with all the foreclosures and walk away morgages....some real buys in Florida.

Wow, what a great example of how to bankrupt a nation.

You stated riots because of health care, Health care is what this thread is supposedly about. You starting off whining about your supposed mother with a rash not having our doctors trip all over themselves to treat her boo boo. That link has nothing to do with this thread.

I posted that link because it was about the so-called "austerity" measures that Europeans weren't happy about. You're right that the article doesn't mention health care, but the Euro governments are cutting domestic spending, and health care takes up a huge portion of that spending. They will be cutting social spending such as health care.

No you're not. You're a traitor.
How am I a traitor? Since when does Canada require its citizens to remain in the country?

CHART OF THE DAY: Why All The Simple Theories Of The Financial Crisis Are Wrong

That pretty much refutes what you said about the financial crisis beginning in the U.S.

How does the way Canada fared through the recession compare with the way Western European countries fared?

hint: they're not even remotely comparable.

Or compared to the USA.....higher unemployement rate....could be 17%.

Wow....talk about national shame.

A technicality only. 'We' is what you use when talking about Americans, and 'you' is what you use when talking about Canadians.
You are absolutely correct. A 'technicality' that will soon be dealt with. I moved here because I fell in love and got married. Now I have a job I love and a beautiful seven month old daughter named Isabelle.

You STATED rioting because of health care. So, since you have not supplied a link to back that up, that would make the statement a lie.

You taking advantage of our Canadian subsidized education system and then buggering off to another country makes you a leach and unworthy of Canadian citizenship. You took advantage of our "socialist" programs, which you say you abhor, without returning anything.
