OK, I see the contrasts in style in the praying debate, but what is the contrast in substance? That Obama is actually trying to solve the problems the US is experiencing (regardless of how effective/ineffective you may deem his efforts to be), rather than focusing on his country's ire at an admittedly hostile country that presents no real threat?

I can't speak for Rush, but I thought Obama's whole demeanor was off at Shanksville. As I said earlier, and I really could careless how he prays, he seemed put out and disinterested. That's all.
