Have you ever heard of a limb-lengthening procedure? I have to admit, I'm a tall man woman!!! A short guy just doesn't turn me on!
Have you ever noticed that some short guys are much attracted to tall women? Funny? Together they sure look comical. ;-)

And tall hunks like petite women for tossing around!:lol:

Do we have any short men on board? Would you mind telling us how you feel, is it a "handicap" to be cute?
And how about really tall guys... more than 6'3". I have a guy in my house who is 6'8.:salute:

I don't mean to insult little, fat and bald men... they are all attractive and charming. ;-)
For instance I have a petite girlfriend who is under 5 feet, and five decades ago, when we first met, she was worried and intimidated about her shortness and tried some stretching gadget.... I thought that was total nonsense. But there you see, male or female, how we try to fit the "norm"!!

I have read about the imagined possibility of creating humans who would just love to work a certain job, like sweeping the streets, or whatever they have genetically been programmed to be good at and even enjoy it!

Who knows what the world will look like in 50 or 100 years?8O

I am 6'3" tall and wouldn't want to be taller.

Pretty much every form of travel is uncomfortable to some degree as most cars, buses, planes and trains seemed to be designed for someone with shorter legs than I have.

I can't tell you how many times I have banged my head on a low hanging light when getting up from eating at a restaurant. I can't keep a keyboard under my desk, it always has to be on top.

Of course, there was the time some guy was talking to my girlfriend (now wife) and she looked uncomfortable. I went over to inject myself into the conversation at which point my girlfriend said "this is my boyfriend".

The guy responded "You could beat the crap out of me", I started to say I wasn't that kind of person but he was gone before I could finish. :lol:

I come from a tall family, except for my mother, and my husband wasn't a "shorty" either.

Some guy in China took a huuuuuuuuuge risk and sued the government for discrimination. The position he wished to apply for which was a government law position stated that the applicants must be 5' 8" or taller.

It's interesting that they view height as strength and representative of power.

Perhaps I shouldn't mention any names but, a while ago some gal who is a distinguished journalist and blogger ranted about how evil men were to discriminate against women who were too fat.

I replied by saying that while she was generally correct, women were just as evil by discriminating against men who were too short. I challenged her to reply in the affirmative.

Even though my post appeared on her blog, she never replied.

But get this... you are as tall as one of my daughters!!!!

You get used to looking down on, I mean at ;-), people and then, every once in awhile, you run into someone taller and there is something about that person you just don't feel comfortable with until you realize you are looking up for a change.

I've run into a few women who were taller than me and I always feel awkward in that situation.

My wife is 5'3"...actually, the next tallest relative of mine in my entire extended family is 6' so I don't know where I picked up the 3 extra inches. My dad is 5'10".

Vell Vell, ve haff here ze classic too big man too big ***** thing. Ach mein Karrie, fear not ze veeer is unfounded. We big men are usually gentle creatures, very careful not to move too fast, and to think of breakable things around us........including smaller folks. This care is inclulcated by a lifetime of china shop visitations, to old aunties homes where fine porcelain sat too near the front of a cabinet.

And yet, smaller men can rage around and about, smash a bunch of sh!t, and not a word gets spake. Let a big man do that and................"loutish oaf" becomes the byword.

Or: Small men can verbally abuse a big guy till he smacks the little **** upside the head.........and then gets called a bully...............Believe me, life at the higher altitudes, sometimes needs oxygen.

I'm approx. 6'2", both my boys are 6'3" plus, and not string beans. We quit measuring the plus years ago when they were in school, so not sure now.

Ever notice though, a little guy can tell you within a half inch how tall he is............just an observation. Big guys don't care.

Also, ever notice some small men have mouths like sewers, and never shut up. These men are alive due to their height. That and that alone saves them.. No one wants to go up on an assault charge on some dwarf.

But, Karrie, we are always very careful to keep more than the required North American social distance of 3 ft. or so, as some folks are intimidated. Sorry about that. We'd never hurt ya.

Get right in here amongst us. There, just like a little Musk Oxlet with a bunch of BIG outward facing horns pertectin ya. Feels good, eh!!

I know it's irrational Nugg. Most of the big men I know are exactly as you say... kind, quiet, good men. But, I can't help quaking a little when they stand over me.

The lives of big men are often very difficult, often very brutal. I've had that message driven home by my dad (average height). He's quick to point out the way that men tend to challenge the big guy. They get in more fights, whether they want it or not. Heck, my uncle nearly got beaten up for talking to my sister once. They bumped into each other at a house party, and when this great big, slightly inebriated native man grabbed my sister and gave her a hug, half the party nearly jumped him for it. Sad really.

G'day Mikey. Yep, height can shrink with age, but my increasing gut has more than compensated for it. Now I'm a big FAT oaf. :lol::lol:

................But, that is changing as we type.........damn I'm hungry, but no snackies till lunch.......and then................only "healthy" food.........for as long as it takes. I never used to be a lard ass, and I ain't startin now. Christ, a few more lbs., and I won't fit in the canoe.
That'll never do.

When I get up to London, you can have the beer, I'll stick with the veggy juiceukeleft:. And, if it's ok with you, we'll leave Loonie at home. No matter how well she dances..........unless, of course, you like to dance..........with her, not me.........I'd only try and lead.:lol:
