I'm entirely in support of your efforts comrade Logic 7, don't let the quizzlings get to you, they're servants of privilage they'd bent thier knees and beg the favours of monarchist scum. I would fling stones with you and be proud of it. A pox on the whole lot of royal inbreds.

Thankx
By the way , it is the moderators who earase my title, however i will keep to myself what i think of this decision.

Yes i would do it, and even more, i would spit on her face, just like i would do on yours and many in here.
Spit in my face, and I'll beat you to a pulp. One of the kids at the daycare spat on my daughter, and I explained to him in no uncertain terms that if he ever spat on her again, I would make it impossible for him to spit.
I don't want your stinking bodily fluids in my face, and in case you don't know, spitting on someone IS assault. And depending on what diseases you carry, it can net you some prison time.

And if we should meet the first thing I'd insist on is that you clean up your grammar before I rearrange your principles. That way I couldn't be criticized for pummelling the stupid.

Ah, so you are blaming them for what they are? You were born to be obnoxious and deluded, We should stone you for that. ;) Why not can the hatred and just accept that there are people to avoid and people to adhere to?

I don't like the idea of royalty either, but I don't wish ill on royalty or hate them.

Yes I am most certainly blaming them for what they are, abdication is a way out for them, I have plans to build an Acme #3 guillotine the only surefire cure for the scourge of royalists. Imagine, hereditary right of rule, a short review of history should convince any resonable person that the institution is archaic and evil. They serve no purpose but glorification of practices and crimes that ought never be repeated.

Futhermore in poll after poll Canadians have selected the Beaver over the queen as the rightfull most righteous intelligent visage to grace our currency. Every year parliament recieves thousands of letters from school children from all corners of this country insisting that the queen of UK be replaced by the industrious Beaver.

I've got nothing personal against the queen and Elizabeth, as a person, deserves respect. I'm not a fan of stoning either.

That being said, having lived most of my life Quebec city, I do find the idea of inviting the Queen at the 400th anniversary quite odd... I would of never thought of it myself that's for sure. Quebecers are largely against monarchy and Quebec city in particular is very francophone. A good part of the little anglophone community in Quebec city is made of people of Irish descendance (like me) so it's questionable as to even the anglophones would be enthusiastic about it.

But heck, if she wants to join the party I've got no problem with that, as long as she brings her own alcohol!

DB, you are heartless. Cold and immune to the smallest of mercies and kindnesses. Canada has benefitted greatly from British in the past; a huge chunk of our history is interwoven with theirs. The least she's due is a bit of respect.

Tamarine, I can't ignore my responsibilitys to the citizens of this country, we must forge new heroic figures for a new reality as we move forward into the twenty-first century. A huge chunk of our history is most certainly interwoven in thiers, it is in the spirit of specific parts of that past that I have made my feelings known, if you'll examine that same history you will find a long history anti-monarchists activity. She is due the same respect that anyone of us is and no more. The institution itself deserves none. Or do you believe they were born special, above and beyond the commonweal?

They were born to bear the burden of their position. A remorselessly thankless one. Elizabeth has sparkled. She's glowed. History is full of darkness. A thousand different sources. But I delight in our luck in having had a relationship with a country, that on balance, has done so much good in the world. No, I don't need your laundry list of complaint; I'm well aware of it already.
