6 US Companies owned by China that you didn’t know about; US China talk Taiwan in high level meeting

Some of America’s most iconic brands are owned by Chinese firms. We explore how the Chinese Communist Party’s fingerprints are on your screens, in your grocery stores, and in technology companies critical to U.S. national security. The U.S. may be taking up new ways to counter Beijing. The CIA is reportedly considering building a mission center for directly countering the Communist Regime. One of the Chinese Communist Party’s 'Wolf warrior' diplomats is in the U.S. He's the new ambassador to the United States, and just met with his American counterpart, describing Taiwan as their most important issue. Flooding strikes another province in China. Water levels soar, with at least 8000 people affected. And China gives Myanmar's military government $6 million. Critics say Beijing is supporting the government's coup.

Amazon suspends 50,000 Chinese sellers; Russia wraps up military exercises in China

Amazon cracks down on 50,000 Chinese sellers. Most of them are suspended for posting fake reviews or sending out gift cards in exchange for positive reviews. All three of America’s most powerful nuclear submarines were reportedly sent into the Pacific Ocean—a rare move, as the three are all patrolling the same area at the same time. The U.S. Strategic Command is sounding the alarm, saying the strategic breakout of China’s military is a cause for action. Chinese state media declares China the winner of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, despite the United States taking home the most medals. Some elementary and middle school students in China must get vaccinated or they can’t attend school, according to local authorities, even though Beijing claims the shot isn’t mandatory.

China holds military drills near Taiwan; US finds fake vaccination cards from China | China in Focus

Over 3,000 fake vaccination cards from China are seized at the U.S. border. They’re even fitted with a counterfeit CDC logo. Extensive waiting lines form at an airport in Shanghai. Chinese students there are waiting to board U.S.-bound flights, despite skyrocketing ticket prices. China brings 300 study abroad programs to an end for college students. One-tenth of the shut-downs involve American universities. Beijing ups its harsh rhetoric surrounding America’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, while a China affairs analyst points out a major U.S. problem tied to China. Beijing holds military drills near Taiwan. Eleven Chinese aircraft entered the island’s air defense zone, including two nuclear-capable bombers.

An elderly couple drowns in flood; Severe droughts put global hydropower at risk | China in Focus

Fake credentials are shipped from China into the United States. Counterfeit Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) badges were discovered among them. The state of Indiana is investigating the Chinese Communist Party’s influence in America. Officials there are seeking to protect the state’s education system. An elderly couple drowned in Beijing’s floodwaters, following heavy rainfall. Some are blaming a drainage system failure. A Hong Kong parliament member is casting doubt on a Chinese-made vaccine. His test results show a 90 percent loss of antibodies that protect against the infection—just three months after getting the shot. Beijing will soon be keeping an even closer eye on China’s industry. The regime has already been clamping down on a number of critical sectors in the country, prompting major losses for big tech companies. But what’s behind the move?

China praises Taliban as ‘more rational’; Chinese official breaks embezzlement record

Beijing responds to the situation in Afghanistan. Chinese officials describe the Taliban as more “sober and rational” than in the past. The United States is limiting passenger capacities for some Chinese flights. It comes after Beijing imposed similar limits on some American flights. Huawei faces a new lawsuit, filed by an American company. It accuses the Chinese telecom giant of espionage and stealing trade secrets. A Chinese Communist Party official breaks the country’s embezzlement record, taking $460 million. But the true figure could be even higher. Chinese farmers who suffered flood damage receive little to no support from authorities. Only a few dollars are given as compensation for a land lot as big as an NBA basketball court.

Thousands dead after Zhengzhou tunnel flood?; Japan increases defenses aimed at China

The aftermath of a flood disaster in China is shaping up to be one of the country’s biggest mysteries of the year. That’s after flood waters poured into a road tunnel in Zhengzhou city one day in July, submerging a 2-mile traffic jam in minutes. Can other nations count on the U.S.? Beijing says no, referring to the current development in Afghanistan. They say today’s Afghanistan is Taiwan’s tomorrow. But president Biden says, if anyone invades American allies — the U.S. will respond. Japan will reportedly deploy hundreds of missile units to its islands close to Taiwan. Japan’s deputy Prime Minister said if Taiwan falls – Japan is next. And India deploys soldiers to the Chinese border for military drills.

Live Q&A: China’s Ties to Taliban Backfire; Afghan Evacuations Become International Effort

The Chinese government has been using the US withdrawal from Afghanistan as a cornerstone in media narratives attacking the United States and promoting its own form of government. The policy, however, has begun to backfire domestically, as Chinese citizens criticize the regime’s ties to the Taliban. And in other news, evacuations from Afghanistan are now becoming a global effort. In this live Q&A with Crossroads host Joshua Philipp we’ll discuss these stories and others, and answer questions from the audience.

Could Wuhan Lab Data Acquired by the U.S. Contain Info Linked to China’s Bio Weapons Program?

Could the Wuhan Lab Data Acquired by the U.S. Contain Information related to China’s Biological Weapons’ program? CNN reported that the U.S. intelligence community is still divided over the two theories of the SARS COVID-2 origin, and that the 90-day report is not likely to reveal earth-shattering information. Why is that? The Biden administration has predicted that science, not intelligence, would be the key to discovering the origin of the virus. What does that mean? Also, the U.S. intelligence community has obtained a large amount of bat and rat virus sample data from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Would that be the silver bullet of this probe? I had these discussions with Dr. Xiaoxu Sean Lin, former lab director of the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. This is part one of our interview.

China Loves Biden Going Down the Scientific Route in Covid Origin Searches

China Loves Biden Going Down the Scientific Route in Covid Origin Searches. The Biden administration has predicted that science not intelligence would be the key to discovering the origin of the virus. What does that mean? The CCP influenced the WHO’s first covid origin report, and claimed that the virus came from America’s biological weapon’s program. However, it is extremely afraid of one thing. What is it, here is part two of my discussion with Dr. Sean Lin, Former lab director of the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research.

China pushed WHO to dismiss lab leak theory: Report; Singer uses Taliban to mock Beijing

A U.S. intelligence review of the pandemic’s China origins is due Tuesday. But the public will have to wait to see a non-classified version. A report says Beijing pressured the World Health Organization to dismiss the Wuhan lab leak theory. The Chinese Communist Party retaliates against a Malaysian singer, all because he compared the regime's authoritarian power tactics with the Taliban’s. American troops are still leaving Afghanistan, while Beijing's Belt and Road Initiative suffers inside Afghanistan's neighbor. China's population may be shrinking faster than any other nation’s. Chinese women gave birth to just 1.3 children on average last year. And even the nation's new policy changes may not be able to reverse the trend.

Join Joshua Philipp, senior investigative reporter and host of “Crossroads,” to explore these topics and more in this Epoch Times webinar. Panelists: 1. Casey Fleming, CEO of BlackOps Partners 2. Gregory Copley, President of International Strategic Studies Association 3. Gordon Chang, Columnist, Author of “The Coming Collapse of China” and “The Great U.S.-China Tech War” 4. China falsely blames virus on US: Report; Chinese city under lockdown has no reported cases

Chinese fentanyl is pouring into the United States. It’s moved through Mexican cartels, and with implicit permission from the Chinese Communist Party. The White House appeals to the private sector to beef up defenses against cyberattacks, while experts say China is actively engaged in war with the United States. China revives old claims about the origin of the pandemic. Beijing accuses the U.S. military of bringing the infection to Wuhan, but one report says otherwise. The United States is reportedly allowing Huawei to buy auto chips, even though the blacklisted Chinese telecom firm was flagged over concerns Beijing could use it for spying. The pressure to get citizens vaccinated is rising in China. Some governmental organs and state-owned companies are now ordering employees to persuade others to get the shot. If they fail, they can expect a pink slip.

How Government Intervention Led to Failures in US Virus Policy: John Tamny | Clip

Did politicians help or hinder? Many parts of the world are introducing new lockdown policies, and many parts of the United States are introducing new mask mandates and vaccine mandates. Yet, have these interventionist policies helped the situation or have they made it worse? To learn more about this we sat down for an interview with John Tamny, Vice President at FreedomWorks, and author of “When Politicians Panicked: The New Coronavirus, Expert Opinion, and a Tragic Lapse of Reason.”

Biden has no clue about science or intelligence. All he knows (knew) is how to rig elections. Much like his Chinese masters.

Woman attacked at Chinese police station; China stands against sanctions on Taliban | China in Focus

Beijing opposes current sanctions against the Taliban. The stance falls in line with the friendly relations between them—but each with their own selfish motives. An eastern Chinese city has been under lockdown for nearly a month. Residents in some areas aren’t allowed to go out—even for food. Military exercises seem to become an everyday routine in areas close to China, with the United States, Australia, Japan, and India hosting drills near the South China Sea while Beijing held recent exercises in Tibet—sending a message to neighboring India. China’s pork investment in South America sparks criticism. Argentine environmentalists launched a protest, opposing a possible deal with China to install mega pig farms.

Ronald Yates says that the Taliban will work with China to reverse engineer much of the technology that was left behind in Kabul during the botched US withdrawal from Afghanistan. ‘Could be a major battle’: Copley on Beijing’s stake in Afghanistan | China in Focus

In this special episode, we sat down with Gregory Copley, president of the International Strategic Studies Association. He gave his take on the destabilization in Afghanistan, why the Chinese Communist Party is working with the Taliban, and how that will affect the geopolitical stage.

Once the United States leaves Afghanistan, who’s going to fill the void?
