Just when you think you've seen and heard every evil thing that humans do to one another, a story like this one comes along to show that there are deeper depths of evil yet to be uncovered.

How about a compromise? We let them go through the judicial process where if guilty they'll be found so. Given whatever time the judge see's fit, then released into the general population where the black panthers will take their skinny little white asses out? sound fair?

Some here seem to be under the impression that just any criminal gets the priviledge of going to club fed. It's actually not that way. You have to prove yourself capable of conducting yourself in such a facility. This means you get to spend a number of months on the bug ward. Not a fun place from what I've heard. It's like the hole but without the punishment factor.

if only this were the worst thing I'd ever heard.

Actually, it's not entirely surprising to me that one of the most horrifying things I've ever heard is also linked to racism and the KKK.

It's the story of Madge Oberholtzer, and it's not for the faint of heart.

Hey finally someone shows an understanding of what prison is about.
Not quite the holiday camp suggested by some. I've always said that if you think prison is easy, spend a weekend in your bathroom.

Usually news of this kind gets around and eventually a population will find out about it. Rapists are not treated well in general population. Sooner or later someone will get put in the range and they will recognize one of these guys and I can say for sure I wouldn't want to be in their shoes once that has happened.

I'm smiling to myself as I type this: We know that most of the prison population is Black and these fools are surely going to the pen for their misdeeds. I would take bets on how short their lifespan is going to be.

this could come as a surprise...this woman who cleans teeth in a milton prison told me that the largest group of prisoners in our system is asians...next there is this huge muslim from drug trade.....blacks are not that high on the list.....

other people have told me certain prisons out west are mostly native due to predujice by rcmp and local constabilatory....

It's an American case Doc, and their prisons are different than ours & most of their inmates are said to be black..or so the liberal bleeding hearts claim.

Karrie, Biography channel had a special on the KKK. They said that this poor ladies death was instrumental in showing the KKK for what they really were. Before this many of the population had believed they were simply a boys club.

So, not that it makes it better, but at least her death was not in vain

That's part of why she sticks in my mind.

The Wiki source cites it as roughly 174 000 (really consider that number, I've lived in smaller cities) members that left the KKK due to her death.

Sadly they didn't just see the wrong in their bigotted views and mend their ways accordingly. They just disassociate with the Klan and go about business as usual. It's an ugly thing prejedice. Once you get past the spectacular bang up job some White people have done with it, you can see that it's rampant among all races.

Slowly I think that is changing through education of youth but I wonder if we will ever be done with it.

Well, one presentation I'd seen, a history channel type thing, can't remember which one exactly, pointed out how for many of the members, it was a habitual thing. Like joining the Elks because your dad was an Elk. It was a social club that many of them needed to belong to in order to maintain their status (leave and the other members quit doing business with you). Some of these organizations have enough perks to sucker members in even if they don't go along with the main mission of the organizations.
