Turncoat move by Jarius Jackson in accepting the HC job when he wouldn't be in the league if it were not for Jones.

Big tilts in addition to Bombers at Sask across the league this week.

Hamilton is 0 - 5 and needs a win in TO before Hamiltonians start jumping from the mountain. Seems inevitable Ti-Cats will self destruct though. Only +2.5 despite their record.

Calgary is in the same boat and needs to win at home against the Lions. At one time it was a more sure thing. Might as well fire Dave Dick if they lose.

Edmonton is past due but Ottawa has been playing well. Elks can't give up 450 yds passing and expect to win. Missing A.C. Leonard in a big way although Elliot Brown is playing well. I hope for his sake Javon Leake does not fumble the ball again.

Stamps are back and their D line is going to get better. lions needed a wake up call to think they could keep throwing Hail Mary;s to Hollins and McInnis. One hit away from having Jake Dolegala at QB as well and it will come.

Big eff up by Shea Patterson by jumping up after the dirty hit by Bighill. Should have made them take him off on a stretcher like Collaros would have done. Bombers will be pressed to turn it around in time for the playoffs. Don't see them being any better in 2025.

Edmonton should fire Jarious Jackson to show how serious they are about winning. Rumour is they are going to sell to a group of 30 investors who are also in on a minor league baseball team. Nothing but trouble ahead for them. Should have taken it public as much as cut a deal for 30 insiders.

0 -2 so far this week. Taking the Argos to beat the Bombers tonight and have Hamilton winning in Edmonton that I will need to break even. Will have to wait for the big payday next week.

Ottawa looks very good all of a sudden and the early season points will help with a home playoff game where anything can happen. Serious long odds against them winning the GC not that long ago. Congrats to Tecumseh Bones for being a fan.

At the game tonight. Argos offense MIA. Defence played well. Winnipeg had 3 fumbles (2 lost) and 1 pick 6 (or fumble 6 not sure how they called it). Both Argos and Bombers made questionable 3rd and 1 gambles in FG range in the last 6 minutes. Neither made it. If either had kicked FG would have altered the course of the game.

But all is well, Bombers lost.

Unappealing rhetoric from Glenn Suitor whining about playing Tre Ford for almost an entire half of play and repeatably berating Bethel-Thompson as unable to spark the offense was beyond ridiculous. Mentioning the last game won 317 days ago when Tre Ford was the hero was the entire game commentary.

Same shit every time though. Drop back and scramble around for 10 seconds and sometimes making a play that can't be scripted again. Yes it works to a degree but it is not a long term plan for success which is what Chris Jones was working toward. Looks to me like the Elk players have given up.

Look forward to seeing how Ford does as a starter.

Brutally unprofessional drivel from Suitor though who is long over due for replacement. CFL wants to connect with a younger audience and the best idea they can come up with is to dye Suitors hair.

Better game from Hamilton who have Montreal at home next game. Potentially a winnable game imo that tightens up the east.

He was going off about that. MBT had a shit game and Ford didnt shine until the last five minutes. Elk have potential but Im not sure sacking Jones was a good idea.

Most critical thing for Edmonton is to hire the right person to run the football ops. Sounds like it will be new owners that make that call.

Then they have to let that person do their job. Not many people have the connections or experience so good luck to them with that.

The real Cody Fajardo shows up again coming off the six game after only two games. Real reason is because he doesn't want Davis Alexander to take his job. Team player through and through until it gets in his way but maybe they still give Alexander the start. Hamilton will be a tough game regardless of plays QB.

If I am Hamilton I scoop Lucky Whitehead off the Winnipeg practice roster and use as a returner. It's 10 touches a game and can make a difference. Winnipeg being Winnipeg making an established player like Lucky sit on the PR while they start 3 rookies ahead of him and continue to lose games. Did the same thing with Naaman Rosevelt. Could be they are using him as a coach similar to Grymes though.

Jones is excellent at finding young talent. While other coaches are wintering in Arizona he's out scouting everything from parks leagues to high schools to NFL rejects. Hes very well connected.

One other guy with a lot of connections is Jim Barker who they should have brought in over Lelacheur as interim President.
