You'd think that the fact that the saudis have a tendency to behead people for having funny look on their face would be good reason to

a) not live there
b) be very good and not get in ANY trouble if you have to live there

you know it IS possible to not get into fights at all, especially if your life depends on it. Perhaps his peers at school might have beaten him up a bit. Small price to pay for not being publicly beheaded. Afterwards, perhaps he could move to somewhere nicer, like a toilet bowl in france.

:canada:.........whew!...........yep, still flying outside. I can do pretty much anything I want and not get lashed or beheaded. Maybe spend a bit of time in the hoosegow, but even that is for the tragically unlucky.

Had a dream that I was living in Saudi. Good lawd.

Just as an aside, it would have been enlightening to have been a fly on the wall when this little fisticuff enthusiast woke up and realized he was in very deep doodoo, and NOT at home where a drive-by murder is perhaps punished by 5 or so years in prison if you have had a "dysfunctional" home life and a "hard" upbringing. The look on his face would have been priceless, or so goes the commercial.

On a certain day of every month, they are going to tie him to a stanchion and lash him (hard) 16.666 times. Every month. No exception. He's in a cell and he knows it's coming and there's nothing he can do about it, and he knows it will be about the most painful thing he's ever experienced. 16.666 lashes a month for a year will definitely encourage all but the hardest of hard cases to refrain from reacting in a violent manner to outside stimuli.

At the end of his year in prison he will probably be totally insane.
