I am appalled. Not just that someone thought using a 3000lb vehicle as a weapon was a good idea but more-so that a judge decided this idiot should get bail while all 3 of his victims are in hospital.

Port Alberni has really hit the skids these past 10 years or so-I know the place of old used to fish Steelhead there seasonally and still pass through regularly on the way to WCVI-not much worth stopping for in that den of iniquity plus a friend of mine is a social health worker there so I've heard it all.

He actually moved there for work but ended up on the other side of the Island and now commutes back & forth-PA was just too much of a suppurating sh!thole to stomach for more than a few months.

You would think he could claim drunkeness. I have passed through there many times on the way to Long Beach Lodge and I have never seen a town of that size with so many liqour outlets.
