Sure, dispose of tyrants when you get the authority to do so.

But that won't be as much of a problem once fossil fuels are out of the equation anyway.

That's not going to happen unless you get off your *** and install the system on your house. ;)
And buy the electric car.

You mean the one that only a handful of people are buying right now because of significant discounts from the government?

Are you getting the point now Jethro?

I meant further right.

I believe there is a blend or mix of liberty and authority that lends the best result for society.

Looks like your starting to understand a little ya.

People keep voting renewables at the ballot, but don't buy and incorporate it in their personal lives. It's hypocritical you see Floss?

They just want to give a perception of being environmentally conscious. Without actually doing it.

That's too general a statement.

They are doing some things much better than the Harper Conservatives already, but they could be doing more.

For example, they are going through a mandatory pipeline approval process that employs proper consultation with FN and environmental groups.

I already told you it requires significant government investment to get off the ground.

If people don't do it for themselves it doesn't matter how much money you throw at it.
It's like the American Natives

The ones who want to help themselves are doing great.

That's too general a statement.

I was talking about the electorate not the liberal party.

That's great that you could put this collection of words together without any supporting evidence.

In the mean time, there is significant investment in renewables which is actually causing a shift in electricity generation and the carbon pricing model in BC is reducing emissions.

Our solar panels in Ontario are going really well. We burn more natural gas the. Ever before to compensate for off peak low production days.

And our prices are 4 times higher then other provinces.

That's because we don't have a carbon pricing system in place yet.

It's because we need small natural gas generators everywhere to compensate for irregularities of our production that can fluctuate from a moment to the next because of the unstable nature of the sunlight and wind speed. A grid needs to stay constant or it will fail.

Our grid is more dependent now on fossil fuel then it has ever been before renewable systems.

Will Call That lack of vision, on the part of our government . The fossil fuel industry is delighted with it.

The government with their top/bottom BS screwed this up big time.
Now our electricity produce more carbon then ever. Sorry to be the barer of bad news Floss.

They won't be once a carbon pricing model is in place.

Then they better build Nuclear instead of solar and wind

To your first comment, not really.

Look, you have to be level headed about this stuff.

The standard of living is still quite good and we are well prepared for the next phase which is the cap and trade phase in.

I live off an average income with a wife and kids and we are getting on just fine.

To your second comment, I'm not picky about nuclear as long as it can be developed safely.

It will have to be, Because sun and wind systems don't work well on a grid
On a personal level where a home owner can produce for himself. It makes sense.
