12. US could have supplied Russia with just enough materiél to keep them in their war of attrition - thus wearing both down for an invasion in 1945/46 - even if US stayed out of European conflict. Shut off aid after weakened Germany is defeated and march west to defeat Russia

That really would have been the smart thing to do in the long run, unfortunately, it's not what happened.


As for the first one listed. That was Hitlers original plan, and if he had stuck to it things would have been significantly different. I believe that that was his downfall.
