Original thought was an attempt to provide direction for young people that would qualify as a credit to the defense budget total.

bout Only thing is a slight problem imo with the level of enthusiasm to do with modern day soldiering. Casualties are mere statistics it seems. Now if your talking about getting it all on film that's another thing.

Week 9 Had to scurry down this morning to get in on Toronto paying 3.0 to win as a 6.5 pt underdog against the Bombers. Did nobody at Proline watch last weeks game? Could be Steveler at QB for Wpg. Ottawa at 2.30 to win might be a good play if Vernon Adams does not dress. Ottawa needs the win...

Canada’s Military current state & equipment

Probably couldn't happen with the youth of today but mandatory military training should qualify as defense spending and would be a better way to deploy dollars rather than to give them to an American military contractor for a missile system. Problem being win / win is not how it works.

Good game in BC last night. My power rankings: 1) Hamilton, the more they play the better they get 2) Calgary, Ottawa on Thursday 3) Montreal, ready to go on a roll 4) Sask, expect a tough test in Montreal 5) Toronto, better than their record 6) BC, showing signs of improvement 7)...

    Blue Heron sighting

Had one standing along the shoreline this morning possibly looking for some food as the wind was blowing in. Not the first time seeing them over the years but usually only once or twice per year. Beautiful bird with big wings. Just looked up top speed of a Blue heron is 35 mph. Canada Geese...

    The Tarriff Hype.

Most of them are foreign owned. BHP developed Jansen. Mosaic HQ is in Chicago. Canadians do work there though.

Score was closer than it should have been given the 6 field goals by Hajrullahu and Winnipeg had no answer for Coxie or Daniels. I hope the odds makers get it wrong again next week as it paid as high as 2.75 for the Argos to win yesterday. As for the byes, Winnipeg has been getting late byes...

Another Rider penalty was roughing the kicker which was offset by a no yards call with the result that Edmonton lost 5yds and remained third down. Odd that no yards is a more severe penalty than roughing. In the end I should have played the spread of 10.5 although it was close. Will now need...

Mosaic looked like the place to be on a beautiful Friday night but I do agree with you about the too many people which is part of the oxymoron. Fortunately for the Riders the refs kept them in the game with 133 yds in penalties for Edmonton to 53 for the Riders including a roughing the passer...

Good win for Montreal in Calgary that made me wonder why Toronto did not sign McLeod Bethel-Thompson when they knew Chad Kelly would not be available. Shout out to the Global kicker who put it right down the middle from 57 late in the game for the winning points. The score was closer than the...

Week 8 in the CFL. Look for an air show in Calgary. MBT is no stranger to 300+ yd passing games and Vernon Adams has been on fire. Both going against good defences. Als currently +6.5 point underdogs are capable of an upset. Tempted to be the over but haven't had luck with that so far...

Close is good with curling and hand grenades they say. Argos were 15 yds away from a shot at a game winning field goal. Good on the Als for coming back from being down 18 at the half. Davis Alexander made plays when they needed them with several second and long completions although looks like...

Had to take another shot with Toronto +10.5 points and paying 4.5 to win in Montreal. Figured I would cover my bet with the spread if I don't win outright and nice payday if they do. Argos can win this game. Montreal has no run game and are dealing with a few injuries.

    Alberta GTFO?

I believe the Oilsands are pushing the limit on foreign controlled interest so in a way it would be supplying the infrastructure for them to export our oil.

I guess they have it figured out but spotting the Argos 8.5 points and paying 4.00 to win are favourable odds imo. Argos are a good team and Kevin Mital is a beast. I have no concerns about Nick Arbuckle playing well. Davis Alexander is going to lose sooner or later and the Als are banged up...
