    Alberta GTFO?

One of the infrastructure issues is they don't have any concrete plants. The person that steps up and learns the business tied into all the future economic development will be a millionaire in 10 years. Caveat being they will have to be an early riser.

    Alberta GTFO?

Been noticing lately what little difference there is between having lots of money and living a borderline subsistence level existence. Both can stand outside on a nice day and enjoy the weather. Eating, shitting. and sleeping is pretty much the same. Somewhat ironically the rich and important in...

    Non-Coalition Coalition that’s Definitely NOT a Coalition…

How much worse off would the Green Party be if it had stuck with Annamie Paul? Miles ahead imo. I hope they cut the funding.

Donald Trump has elected our Prime Minister

Bottom line they didn't get it done and lost for the 4th time in a row under 4 different leaders. Of course the electorate was rigged in their favour from Day 1 in 1867 which we have politely adhered to all these years later. 60 seats in the GTA alone cannot help but imply a regional bias...

Donald Trump has elected our Prime Minister

All true although the message from the Conservatives even in the late going was "are we really going to give these clowns a 4th term" which basically got answered. There never was a lot of substance to their campaign imo.

    Non-Coalition Coalition that’s Definitely NOT a Coalition…

Andrew Scheer running under a different name. Harper would have been the guy to go with imo.

Canadian Federal Election Outcome October 20th (or 27th?), 2025.

Still a huge disconnect between the Atlantic provinces and Western Canada. It appears the Maritimes know who butters their bread while the west gets none. I say No to an east / west pipeline.

She won her riding again and looks like the only Green candidate to do so.

    election day

Education has become about the jobs and little more. It is an outdated throwback to years gone by that has grown to now one of the largest industries in North America all on behalf of the children.

Mark Carney (Trudeau Liberal Replacement) as PM

The public sector has spoken. For me it just seems the Liberal party is fixated on a sense of entitlement and that they have never had to pay for anything ever. Not too may gardeners. I'm disappointed.

April Fools!! Here's your Carbon Tax F#ckers!!!

Hudson Bay Rail never put in the preventative maintenance that was required and eventually what was left from CN got swallowed up. Port Nelson is new to me and further south so maybe picking that site has something to do with the geology.

    Omnibus Russia Ukraine crisis

It's unclear to me how many Russians are in support of Putin and hoping I don't fall from a clock tower window for saying so. For the guy on the street trying to feed his family, what benefit is in it for him other than to lose his children as they give their lives for their so called country...

April Fools!! Here's your Carbon Tax F#ckers!!!

I didn't make it clear that the post was in reference to a deep water port on Hudson Bay. Maybe not the best thread to put it in. One thing for sure is there is lots of development to come for the north.

April Fools!! Here's your Carbon Tax F#ckers!!!

Something that should have been done long ago and knowing it will be fully backed by the province. “A group of 11 First Nations in Manitoba plans to build an additional industrial terminal nearby at Port Nelson to ship liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Europe and potash to Brazil.” -

Canadian Federal Election Outcome October 20th (or 27th?), 2025.

Noticed today the Liberals have an Indigenous person as their candidate which will give them a better chance than many but it still will not be enough. Overall it has been pitifully low profile unless you follow on tv. No candidates knocking on doors cause that would almost be like working...

LILLEY: CBC loses lawsuit against Tories while wasting your money

Tied to a lucrative job offer no doubt. Once the novelty wears off you will not be as enthusiastic imo Better off to buy somewhere in the boonies where you can spend your day clearing land and prospecting for rare minerals. You'll sleep better at night.

    Pierre Poilievre

Refreshingly honest comment from the Manitoba premier stating Manitoba Hydro being $25 billion in debt. Never heard that news from the previous leaders. How is it possible that a company could display such ineptitude without competition? Seems it is the mindset of public sector employees that...
