FBI Raids Former President Donald Trump’s Home

I observe this phenomenon on regular news stories as well. People judge based upon what is thrown at them by the news reader reading the copy.

FBI Raids Former President Donald Trump’s Home

Maybe in the court of public opinion. But this happens all the time. He won't be the first or the last for this to happen to. It's a sad commentary on the 'public'.

FBI Raids Former President Donald Trump’s Home

Sounds like your average witness in any court proceeding. Not really reliable but there anyways.

    Roe v. Wade overturned?

In the maritimes the provinces are considerably smaller so comparisons don't really fit. So she may not be the best judge of that. :) But yes, getting into another state can be quite quick. Some states are long though so one direction may be longer than others. When I drove to SK from Toronto...

    deaths

In situations like this, one thinks they should be able to euthanize the public instead as they were the ones at fault.

High-risk sex offender disappears from Vancouver, B.C. halfway house

High risk to public but in non-secure halfway house? Brilliant.

    Alberta Provincial Liberal Party

I remember the Liberal Party in Saskatchewan. It kind of collapsed when Trudeau Sr. was in Ottawa. In SK I thought some of the Liberal MLAs joined with some Conservative MLAs to become the Saskatchewan Party. Think that was end of the line for the Liberals in SK. Thought Alberta Liberals were...

Unvaccinated mothers facing up to $50,000 in maternity leave repayment to BC Government

It sounds like it is a loophole in their policies but they certainly are not doing anything to fix it.

Unvaccinated mothers facing up to $50,000 in maternity leave repayment to BC Government

I am not a lawyer, and do not even play one in TV, but they could show up to work and then be fired per mandate (which I don't think matters anymore -- at this point covid is nothing vaxed or unvaxed) but since they returned to work they are covered.

Alec Baldwin fired shot that killed one, wounded another on film set

Was that fact not known from day 1 and undisputed? So glad after all these months of investigation they can confirm that. Sounds like they have been wasting their time.

More than 10,000 Canadians received a medically-assisted death in 2021: report

The person who has to live (or not) with the surgery should have that choice.

    Run Faster: Polievre

I noticed that visiting my dad in SK last week. A lot more open hatred of the federal government there than out here. I don't think people in Ontario are happy currently but the difference in degree of dislike was noticable. If the NDP does go back to the oblivion, that would likely mean a...

    2022 CFL Season

Nobody is talking CFL. This year my son and I have actually got into the season. I have watched the Argos opener. My son has been to a couple more games when I was in SK last week. We have Argos tickets for BC & Montreal later this year. Unfortunately for the second year in a row the Riders...

Rogers, Shaw, Quebecor sign definitive agreement on planned sale of Freedom Mobile

My son's cellphone is Freedom. His phone worked when Rogers was down. So that was good. A point not to be fully Rogers.

Federal board investigating Alexander Graham Bell's 'controversial beliefs'

Really? You don't like Justin? Shocked. I am of the position that we should just not do statues period. Plant a tree. Help the environment instead. History can be learned in books.

Not the brightest tactical response to any situation to storm a police station.
