    COVID-19 'Pandemic'

People are always free to do what they feel is right for them. I still see people in masks.

    COVID-19 'Pandemic'

I don't see a return to lockdowns. People won't stand for it anymore.

I think COVID was declared a pandemic by the WHO.

    Grocery Store Chain Tax?

I love the headline: Developers welcome GST rebate for rentals, but fear flurry of activity will drive up prices So in order to lower prices they will drive up prices. Well thought out.

UAW Strike...Will it drive a recession? They only want 40%

The historic approach is they would rotate. This bargaining period it would be Ford. Ford would settle and the other 2 would carbon copy the settlement. Next time it would be GM then Chrysler. It was kind of a weird setup on both sides. Also those would be full shutdowns this is one plant at each.

Electric Vehicles to be Banned in Toronto

If the tenant is paying for the power usage to charge the vehicle, I don't see the point of the ban.

    “Wokeness” in Canada and elsewhere…

I don't know how they decided which group did what. Any one of them could have been triggered by their assignment.

    “Wokeness” in Canada and elsewhere…

Those location of both of those was done by 2 separate committees who didn't talk to each other. I think the one who did the fly swatter thing was the one with the drugs.

Two years into the Trudeau 2.0 Minority Term, which day will Justin call the election that only he wants?

I don't seek out friendships based on politics. I usually find out their politics after they are on my Facebook feed. I actually have a full representation of all parties among my friends. But the ones I refer to are grasping at staws and more anti-conservative than pro-Liberal.

    Rapporteur David Johnson, Eminent Canadian

The USA has checks and balances to ensure the maximum number of lunatics are involved in the process. We only have the 1.

Two years into the Trudeau 2.0 Minority Term, which day will Justin call the election that only he wants?

Not according to my facebook feed. Several otherwise perfectly respectable friends keep posting anti-PP memes (no doubt originally Chinese).

Two years into the Trudeau 2.0 Minority Term, which day will Justin call the election that only he wants?

There are people who are convinced that any Conservative is bad and therefore they need to vote Liberal regardless.

    Maternity Mistreatment

In Canada this summer, my wife had chest pains. She buzzed. They came on the intercom and asked. We waited about an hour for someone to show up. The nurse was short staffed. She had 9 or 10 patients. So a missed buzzer is not going to get me thinking about poor treatment. As hospitals tend to...

    Maternity Mistreatment

Having been through some hospital stays this summer with my wife, often there is no response or delayed response to the buzzer. From what I gather the nurses normally have 6 patients per nurse (in USA they had 4) and this assumes everybody shows up for work. So I think everybody who is in the...

    Maternity Mistreatment

This is a survey result about perception of mistreatment rather than clearly identified mistreatment. While in some cases, perceived mistreatment came from real mistreatment, it is likely not always the case. I think one would need to study the bias for perceiving mistreatment from each of these...

    It's Climate Change I tell'ya!! IT'S CLIMATE CHANGE!!

I know you are trying to be funny. I do like the believe there is still a place on the political spectrum (not well populated mind you) called the middle. This is where I see myself. I probably lean right on some issues and left on others. But never to either extreme. As to this issue, I see...
