Majority of Canadians have now caught COVID — so what does that mean for the future?

Sorry, that's not a dodge. That's just logic. It's not relevant to the argument so it can't be a fallacy. Pretty straight forward. And we both know the second party there is just wrong. I've posted the facts several times.

Immigrants sent to Mass. from Florida, on taxpayer dime

Wow. PPC needs to step up their screening.

Yeah, and i get that from the schools' perspective. This is probably not the hill (or hills) they want to die on. They're there to run a school, not get into social justice fights. And fair enough. But as an individual it's not making me respect trans rights a whole lot watching this.

    Omnibus Russia Ukraine crisis

Well i was wondering what putin's next move would be - apperently it's to declare the remaining territory as "russian" with a fake referendum and then to treat the situation like a war I have serious doubts as to whether this is going to have the effect he wants it to. Obviously the plan is to...

Immigrants sent to Mass. from Florida, on taxpayer dime

Truth be told, i've never really looked into what the canadian situation is. For a time you ran into a lot of undocumented auzzies around here but certainly nobody thought badly of it. It would make sense that this would be considered a pretty easy port of entry and it' pretty easy to slip...

Canada’s population is booming – and we aren’t building nearly enough homes

Says every person who loses an argument due to bad thinking :) If you're resorting to buzzwords, that's a bad sign. my "goalposts" stayed the same from beginning to end and always do. Your problem, and it's the same problem in several of our discussions, is you start off with something in...

Canada’s population is booming – and we aren’t building nearly enough homes

Oh look - you've managed to learn how to parrot :) Well done. That is precisely what i said to you. And it stands. You pick the fight, then you crybaby that there's a fight. The rules are simple - act like a dink, get treated like a dink. And you've been acting like a dink. Don't do that and...

That was my first thought. I wouldnt' be comfortable with this kind of obviously provocative prosthetic on a female either. I wouldn't be ok with a guy walking around with a giant fake dong or fake hard on under his pants either. And i wouldn't if he were biological or trans. If we wouldn't...

Majority of Canadians have now caught COVID — so what does that mean for the future?

It's certainly true that they provide no protection against transmission for omicron. That's an accurate statement. The research strongly shows they provide some benefit reducing the severity of the infection but here we kind of have to discuss 'benefit' , Yes, a person freshly "vaxxed" will...

Immigrants sent to Mass. from Florida, on taxpayer dime

it's a problem in lots of countries to one degree or another but i swear in the states it's like a problem crossed with a sporting event crossed with a game show.

Canada’s population is booming – and we aren’t building nearly enough homes

You petros and sarryah. And i'm hardly alone with the third, and petros keeps taking really indefensible positions and then shooting himself in the foot :) But - gee, i seem to recall other people taking shots at her too. hmmmm This is simple - don't act like an ass - don't get treated like...

Majority of Canadians have now caught COVID — so what does that mean for the future?

No, that would only be true if we were debating whether or not they were "vaccines". The accuracy of the name wasn't really up for debate. When we refer to the 'covid vaccines' everyone knows what we're talking about, so it wasn't really necessary to have that discussion. Modern ginger ale has...

Canada’s population is booming – and we aren’t building nearly enough homes

I doubt it'll be restricted to SA's for long, they're already talking about how houses are becoming "generational", where the kids can't afford to leave so they stay and wind up having their own kids and take over when the parents pass and so on and so on. May be the norm for everyone at this...

That's not a thought, that's a night's lost sleep and a good reason to book a therapy session! Gawds - I did not need that mental image :) (the redneck spin was a nice touch tho). well it wouldn't entirely surprise me if you were right. It's hard to fathom how these people think.

Canada’s population is booming – and we aren’t building nearly enough homes

Well that's the problem - they look for 'innovative' ways to heat and it leads to these problems. The cost depends a little on HOW they heat of course and what they do to create extra insulation. And often that leads to modifications that aren't entirely safe.

Canada’s population is booming – and we aren’t building nearly enough homes

Oh i wasn't even comparing it as being the same - i've spent a few winters in manitoba when it's bad and i know it's pretty horrible. Just noting that while where i am is nothing like that, even in places which are a lot more closer to the prairies are seeing hordes of this kind of stuff. But...

Majority of Canadians have now caught COVID — so what does that mean for the future?

Generally the guy who posts links that proves he's wrong "loses" :) there's no arguing that there's lots of scientific research which shows the vaccines worked well to stop transmission on alpha, less but still decent on delta, not so much on omicron. It really isn't a debate. He was just...
