How the GW myth is perpetuated

I think the problem is that people just spew misleading info. This "Friends" group put out radio ads that there's been no warming for the past 10 years, but that flies in the face of the data that the data collectors have published. According to the people that actually collect the data, the...

People should put pressure on the gov't to crack down on Corning, then, I think. That's awesome! We used to pick stuff up when we were camping and stuff back in the 70s, too. Still do when we see junk lying around. I think it's getting better though.

    Simple never-fail recipes

Ok, that's cool. Still sounds work intensive to me. I guess there must be a process to separate paper from plastic coatings. As you mentioned though, glass is heavy so it's expensive to ship, but it is a lot less stress on the environment to use than oil products like plastic. And it doesn't...

Funny, the boxes are plasticized and the plastic bags are reusable, but not particularly recyclable. Glass on the other hand is recyclable and uses much less paper. The glass also does not off-gas into the wine. Offgassing does change the flavor.

I know a couple people that think bagged wine is better. It comes inside a bag which is inside a box. Les called it trailer park champagne. Kinda sounds gross. Too much packaging for sure.

Global Warming ‘Greatest Scam in History’

I don't care what your version of things is. An hypothesis is NOT developed to avoid proofs. It is developed to define the parameters of and initiate investigation of the proofs. Get a grip.

Global Warming ‘Greatest Scam in History’

I haven't seen anyone as obtuse as you for a very long time. Scientific hypothesis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia An axiom is a maxim. It is simply a widespread recognized truth. Most of them do not need proofs. It is not the avoidance of truth. There's a massive difference.

Again; so what? I still don't see any support for your statement that hypothesis is an avoidance of proof.

Hey! You got one right. Genetic mutation and natural selection are both a part of evolution. Both are processes. Natural selection is the process by which organisms adapt in order to better survive. Genetic mutation does that also but it keeps organisms from becoming homogenous, as well.
