I don't think it's impossible to get people to quit polluting at the rates we have been, but it won't be done in one or two decades. And I think it's extremely stupid and short sighted not to try.

Actually, the only question I found was this; "So how have all those efforts to cut emissions worked so far, what are the actual results of all those $billions spent on "saving the planet"?" That is an easy question to answer. Not enough people are interested in the well-being of the planet...

The answer is easy. Quit polluting. It'll take time, but the less pollution, the better. The alternative isn't good for the planet and an unhealthy planet isn't good for us.

So you still aren't saying anything that refutes what I said. And that was that it isn't a coincidence that regionss with oil also happen to have fossils lying around, too. It kind of points away from the idea that oil is produced by rocks rather than ancient critters and the forces of physics.

Well if oil and dead critters being in the same region is more than a coincidence (I'm thinking miracle here), then why don't we find oil in places where there weren't lots of critters; the Himalayas, Antarctic, for instance? BTW, the exhibits in the Tyrell Museum span from the Cretaceous...
