Heat waves in Oz are from dropping ocean temps. No ocean warmth to make rain to cool off the continent. Just like the US just a couple years ago.

Compare the CO2 content of the atmosphere o the previous interglacial period and Anthro CO2 loses any ground thought it had. And we're still 4C short of the last as well.
