    Chevy reVOLTing

Interesting. In this weeks MacLeans the article states that GM can't produce the Volt fast enough to meet demand.

October 21 - The End is Near

WHy go shopping now when the stores are crowded. After the 21st either you won't need anything or there will be super sales on. Does the rapture apply to non believers as well?

Al Gore: Global warming skeptics are this generation's racist

WE don't even know how much oil and gas is sitting off the west coast because some short sighted liberal government in Ottawa put a moritiorium on drilling about 30 years ago.

Al Gore: Global warming skeptics are this generation's racist

Must mean that his carbon trading scam isn't producing enough revenue. Time will prove that the sky is falling alarmist types like Gore and Suzuki will be in the same category as racists.

69% Say It’s Likely Scientists Have Falsified Global Warming Research

That would be the spin doctors that claim we are running out of oil and that burning coal is worse than nuclear power? And cows farting is raising the temperature?

    Saskatchewan approves carbon-capture project

If CO2 can be captured and stored, why can't the carbon part be removed and used to make steel instead of using coal and the oxygen part released into the atmosphere?

What to do about global warming

Suzuki was pushing solar powered highways on the radio. What he couldn't explain is how one keeps them snow free so they work in winter and what happens when there is an accident and the road gets broken up. Or even what happens with frost heaves. So far it sounds like it might be better for...

    Artic report card

The time frame in your graphs is too short geologically speaking to indicate anything. Need something in the 500 year range to be relevant. What was the ice pack 400 or so years ago when they were looking for a northern route to China.

What to do about global warming

There is supposed to be somewhere in the neighbourhood of 200 years worth of coal in Canada. No point in letting a proven source of energy go to waste while we fiddle around with expensive alternatives. By looking for ways to make coal burn cleaner and more efficient there is no telling what new...

What to do about global warming

According to the coal industry there is. Trouble is the ecoterrorists keep trotting out pictures of 1920 coal plants and a gullible public believes them because they have been conditioned to believe that big business is bad. We went through essentially the same thing in the 80s and 90s with...

    It's the Sun, Stupid.

It would be hard to solicit donations using hard data. Doesn't sell much print either. Much better to use BS in large print. On the bright side Gore and Suzuki have helped keep oil prices up by jetting around the world preaching gloom and doom.

    NEXT Big Lie—biodiversity

The greenies have been crying about biodiversity for ages, as long as it is their chosen plants. Here the want to kill scotch broom and a number of other species including my favorite blackberries but not roses, tulips and the gmo golf course grass. The ones that never get off the couch in the...

    Species wide suicide

Claiming the economy is more important than the environment is absurd, without a stable environment the economy is eventually going to collapse anyway. With the inevitable change already in pipeline now, some scientists like James Lovelock are already predicting the collapse of many cities in...
