    What Emergency Act?

Again and again and again, we have seen evidence that the Trudeau government grossly overreacted to the convoy’s blockade. And yet when they are confronted by proof of this foolishness, they double down to prove their imposition of our country’s most draconian law was justified. The persecution...

Alberta's carbon capture rollout plan criticized by industry over transparency, costs

How about those oil prices? They’re high, but taxes still remain one of the biggest single contributors to Canadian fuel prices when weighed against other drivers such as crude oil prices, refining costs and the markup charged by fuelling stations. All told, a Canadian driver can expect to pay...

This below chart is for Males, but if Iost 20lbs somehow to get to the high end of the “Health Weight” I’d look like I was fighting Cancer, & if I got to the low end of the “Health Weight” range, I’d look like I was just rescued from Auschwitz.

The guy I was describing above a couple of posts has about a 30” waist, 5’8” height, and about 200lbs, and EASILY double my strength (but 20yrs younger than me also). 5’8”=68” - (30”x2)= 8” taller than double his waist size, but obese on the BMI. Again, this guy is about 3% body fat which...

I’m 6’2 & 215lbs with a 34” waist. Using one of these BMI calculators…. It states that I’m overweight. 6’2” = 74” - (34” x 2) means my height is twice my waist plus an extra 6” so I’d say this BMI is a load of BS.

The model in question on the cover of the magazine is 5‘11“ (google). A buddy of mine on the BMI comes up as obese in the ratio between his height and his weight. He’s also an MMA fighter with about 3% body fat. He’s about 5‘8“ tall and built like the Hulk

    Omnibus: Conservative Leadership Race

Uhm….yeah….I was asking because of this: Feb. 13, 2018: FBI Director Chris Wray warns against buying Huawei and ZTE phones. Aug. 23, 2018: Australia says it won’t allow Huawei or ZTE to be part of the 5G rollout in that country. Aug. 23, 2018: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says Canada relies...

This looks like half the Europeans in Cuba, and the Russian guys wear skimpier speedo’s from the ‘80’s (it’s not just the Adidas tracksuit‘s folks). Great big beer bellies and lots of gold chains… and nobody gives a shit because everybody’s there to have fun.

April Fools!! Here's your Carbon Tax F#ckers!!!

Why does the government’s carbon tax stay in effect when inflation is itself a huge carbon tax? The combination of the government driving up gasoline prices, and the world energy economy driving them up even more, is really hurting everyone on the economic edge. Especially so after two years of...

Alberta Premier Kenney and U.S. Senator Manchin on energy security – April 12, 2022

This is from just yesterday now: With skyrocketing gas prices, Washington scrambling for more oil and the U.S. midterm elections around the corner, Alberta Premier Jason Kenney's appearance before a U.S. Senate committee to pitch his province's oil couldn't come at a better time...

Alberta Premier Kenney and U.S. Senator Manchin on energy security – April 12, 2022

EDMONTON—Alberta Premier Jason Kenney says he will step down after barely surviving a leadership review that has revealed the depth of division within the United Conservative Party he founded — and turned politics in the province upside down. In a dramatic turn of events, Kenney received 51.4...

    Gun Control is Completely Useless.

I am really on the outside looking in on this one but it doesn’t pass the smell test… Bill C-71 — which includes additional verification for acquisition and possession licenses for non-restricted firearms, and additional bookkeeping for businesses — will be ineffective in keeping guns out of...

I’m not a Sports Enthusiast by any means, but….

About three years ago my girlfriend bought some stand online that sat in our basement for the last three years. The rental suite came open (my son had been using it for the last eight or so months), so she was prepping things to put into that suite. Jammed in the back of a drawer of the stand...

    What Emergency Act?

Following due process may be inconvenient and time-consuming for a government panicked about a raucous trucker protest. But it is certainly not impossible. Ontario obtained just such a court order five days before the federal government opted to go the nuclear route. The legally slippery nature...
