Kelly McParland: How decades of Liberal indifference created Danielle Smith

Trudeau was in Saskatoon on Monday to tour a rare earth elements processing plant along with the city’s mayor, Charlie Clark. The premier was not on the invite list. Moe complained on Twitter, calling the snub “disappointing” since the federal and provincial governments see eye-to-eye on the...

“Police said at the time of the stabbing, she was living in the community while out on bail for two counts of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, arson — disregard for human life, failing to comply with probation, and two counts of failing to comply with a release order….& a partridge in...

    Another Trudeau scandal?

A viral video of Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland explaining why she needs to spend $2 billion quickly is giving Canadians an inside look at how the Trudeau government acts first and thinks later. The video clip is from a Senate finance committee hearing last December, when Freeland was asked...

City to take second look at renaming Dundas St.?

Who could possibly have an issue 150 yrs from now with “Dumbass Street” ??? It’s a proud name with a strong heritage, that we made up over drinks on a Tuesday.

City to take second look at renaming Dundas St.?

Why not just start naming cities and streets using Cockney rhyming slang? 150 years from now, when somebody has an issue with the name, there will be so many different interpretations of its origin, that it’ll just fade away before it even starts, and the naming might be fun...

Alberta NDP promises Filipino language and culture curriculum for schools, if elected

I hear you. Above it says that Filipino’s are 3.47% of BC’s population, & 5.2% of Alberta’s population. Yes, BC has a bigger overall population than Alberta. Maybe BC’s 3.47% is physically more people than Alberta’s 5.2% but as a block in Alberta (vote wise), I can see why Alberta jumped onto...

Alberta NDP promises Filipino language and culture curriculum for schools, if elected

As a percentage of the respective provincial total of the populations though?

    Davos WEF Smack Down 2023

I just thought I was a Great Speech. Common sense and delivered very casually with the guy leaning on the podium, yet very direct into the point yet conversational. I thought it was extremely well done without double speak….& I’m juxtaposing that against what I expect to come out of Davos this week.

    Davos WEF Smack Down 2023

Heard a snippet of this speech on the radio on the lunch-hour & looked up on the interwebs. Wonder if this sentiment will arise at Davos this week?

Canada’s cities see immigration-driven population surge after pandemic lull

I was the one driving when we went past it on the way to camping on Canada day weekend…. Or I would’ve taken pictures. This was a big string in a single line for a big farming outfit (not a solar farm itself), and they were absolutely trashed….

Alberta NDP promises Filipino language and culture curriculum for schools, if elected

South Asians and Filipinos are the two largest racialized groups in Alberta. South Asians represented 7.1% of Alberta's population, and Filipinos represented 5.2% of the population. Alberta has an outsized proportion of Filipinos, with more than one in five (22.6%) Filipinos in Canada living in...

Canada’s cities see immigration-driven population surge after pandemic lull

I’ve seen the aftermath of a line of solar panels (up by Elbow SK) after a prairie hailstorm. That’s impressive. Might be worth a google earth hunt in the daylight. Think it’s close to Elbow on Grid #749 if I remember correctly.

Pierre Polievre on the Liberal Gun Laws - this is an excellent and simple answer.

What’re ya talking about? How can “those people are putting us all at risk” possibly be thought of as divisive? Dislike for Trudeau is strongest in B.C. and Manitoba and Saskatchewan, at 60 per cent, followed closely by Alberta and Quebec at 58 per cent, so that would naturally be the scapegoat...

New hospital video of patient's death over mask dispute raises questions

Shame the medical mask wasn’t exchanged for an oxygen mask before/instead of this confrontation. Guess that’s Monday morning quarterbacking though. Wonder how long she was sitting in that chair struggling to breathe before the four Security personnel confronted her in that chair? More or less...

Canada’s cities see immigration-driven population surge after pandemic lull

Her for sure, but does Trudeau pass up the opportunity to rub elbows, reaffirm his green agenda, and get some selfies in for a future ego wall? Maybe an opportunity to get behind a pulpit towards like minded peoplekind?

    2SLGBTQQIA+

Yeah, but from what I understand it was debated due to the research method involved by the Nazis, but the flip side of the debate compared to the destruction of the Library of Alexandria…& where would our technology be if that knowledge had survived? What would a scientist only a hundred years...
