I do cheer for other teams - except the US - but I cheer longest and loudest for our kids spam, enough so that my neighbors have grown used to hearing me during a game. :)

So my neighbor drops by today and we get to talking about the tourney which is when he informs me that that the Czechs are not the Slovakians and the teams are in different divisions. Good grief. I think I have been cooped up too long and my brain is going to mush. Sorry for all the reporting...

Now that is more like it- just the type of game we need this early in the tournie. The Czechs played a great game and though we won 3 -1 it was not a particularly well-played game by our kids. Lots of sloppy passes and lack of cohesion.

Watched the Czechs play the Swiss today and surprise, surprise................the Czechs won! Congrats kids. Canada plays on boxing day. Germany vs Finland next then later today, the US play the Russians. GO CANADA GO!
