I would have to see the first one before I see this one.

    Roe v. Wade overturned?

I guess I lost count somewhere. I always find it funny if the law is absolute how a right or left interpretation of them can be different. It is either legal or its not.

    Roe v. Wade overturned?

Republican balance of court now 5-4 I think. One more appointee and it swings back the other way. Also midterms and this plays into republican stomping points. My guesses.

    It's Climate Change I tell'ya!! IT'S CLIMATE CHANGE!!

So there was a more extreme heatwave in or before the 60s? That is how I interpret that headline.

‘Painful summer ahead:’ Gas prices reach 211.9 in Metro Vancouver, expected to rise

If you were an oil producer would you not sell to the high priced market rather than a lower priced domestic market? You would want to maximize profits.

    Roe v. Wade overturned?

I have exactly the same posiiton and decisions as you except not yet with the second booster. Still deciding on that one.

Doug Ford won’t say what Highway 413 will cost taxpayers

Every guess every government has ever given for every project has always been wrong. It will cost a lot but we need more roads to whatever. At this point a billion here or a billion there doesn't matter much. After all, our PM says budgets will balance themselves.

I must admit I did need the help of google to figure out exactly what this was. I thought maybe it was a strange fetish with kitchen utensils.

    Roe v. Wade overturned?

So you are for a woman's right to choose to get an abortion (citing freedom to choose what happens to her body) but against people having a right to choose to have a vaccine -- a choice about what happens with ones body? And just to be clear, we have no vax mandate right now. Same as we have no...

    Roe v. Wade overturned?

It's usually point 2 in TrueDopes campaign speeches to suggest the Conservatives will make abortion illegal.

    Roe v. Wade overturned?

What's to challenge? The only law there was on the subject was already stuck down. There was never a replacement. Unless someone makes another law which I don't see happening despite TrueDope's ballywhooing.

Buck-A-Ride A Massive Hit with Voters

Right now public transit is subsidized from all 3 levels of government. In Toronto, the Feds and province are paying less than they should based upon models of other transit systems in NA. So in a way this would increase the provincial funding of the service but not really help since it would be...

Buck-A-Ride A Massive Hit with Voters

Taxpayers would pay $2.20 / ride for the TTC (more when they decide to raise their fares and they will since they are running a shortfall -- milk the government for all its worth). For GO its distance base. One way fair to Union from where I am is $5.18 (government on hook for $4.18). The...

Ottawa police make 7 arrests and tow 24 vehicles during Rolling Thunder bike rally weekend

Well, if you want the true centre of the universe ... it should be Toronto. :) I think not being a provincial capital would actually be a good thing as it would remove conflict of interest. I think that was one of the reasons Ottawa was chosen over Toronto. As for infrastructure, it would all...

Ottawa police make 7 arrests and tow 24 vehicles during Rolling Thunder bike rally weekend

Winnipeg is a good idea for the capital. Most people already don't like Winnipeg so it is off to a good start.
