Every Black person alive in the U.S. has a personal history full of grievances. It ain't about slavery. It ain't about Jim Crow. It's about the here and now.

You judge all of BLM by the actions of the rioters. Shall we judge all cops by the conduct of the troopers at Edmund Pettus Bridge?

Britain has had some great kings and some great queens, but I would argue that its three greatest monarchs, each for her time, were Elizabeth I, Victoria, and Elizabeth II.

I agree that the comparisons are inapposite. The grievances that motivated BLM are older, deeper, and vastly more pervasive and severe than the truckers' hissy fit.

She's a smart, dignified lady, and a really good symbolic leader. She's the only Head of State or government in the world who was alive in WWII.
