So, Finally Saw Top Gun: Maverick

Apparently, "deeply traumatized emotional basket case" is a prerequisite for getting your pilot wings in the Navy.

World Economic Forum official says Canada has bigger issues to discuss than conspiracy theories

No, they just want to install the one who lost the election and who has already talked about a "third term," which would violate the Constitution They're definitely not fascists. They are firm believers in democracy. Long as they win.

Donald Trump Announces 2016 White House Bid

The FBI and the DOJ spent a year trying to play nice with him, and get him to return the documents he absconded with (as required by law). They treated him with kid gloves. Eventually they gave up trying to be diplomatic. Hell, even Trump's own Attorney General says so.

World Economic Forum official says Canada has bigger issues to discuss than conspiracy theories

We have that here. We call it ALEC. It's a right-wing outfit of corporations and lobbyists who make up "model legislation" for the states to adopt without reading. Or else.

So, Finally Saw Top Gun: Maverick

No, callsigns are given by your squadron mates. So "Cyclone" and "Warlock" in the movie would more likely be "Psycho" and "Warthog" in the navy.

Donald Trump Announces 2016 White House Bid

I look forward to your presentation of all the Presidents who retained classified documents after they left office and lied about it.

World Economic Forum official says Canada has bigger issues to discuss than conspiracy theories

I have a theory. . . The more high-flown terms of democracy and freedom a country has in its name, the more repressive it is. For example. . . The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. . . not a single word about how wonderfully free and democratic they are. For that matter...

Canada developing path to permanent residency for undocumented workers

Fun fact: over half of the "illegal aliens" in the U.S. are visa overstays, not migrants over the southern border.

FBI Raids Former President Donald Trump’s Home

You've clearly forgotten, so I'll remind you. pgs referred to declassifying documents before Jan. 6. Given that the Trump administration, and therefore Trump's authority to declassify documents, ended at noon on Jan. 20, 2021, would you agree that Jan. 20 might be the more relevant date for...

FBI Raids Former President Donald Trump’s Home

I did say. Do you understand that "government" dates, such as the dates of elections, fixed, Constitutional dates like the date of changeover of administrations, and dates like the turning of the fiscal year or the income-tax filing deadline, are a different thing from "historical" dates, which...

OK, time for remedial English. Do you understand the difference between "historical" and "governmental?"

So, Finally Saw Top Gun: Maverick

I saw nothing ominous in "Deadmeat." No foreshadowing there. In point of fact, most callsigns aren't as badass as the ones they dream up for Top Gun movies. I also noticed that, unlike the first film, they didn't list the Navy pilots' callsigns in the credits.
