I'm just listening to bus drivers being interviewed on C.B.C. radio, virtually all of them reported being verbally abused on a daily basis, spat on occasionally, and beat up frequently. Often when the assaults get reported nothing is done. What's the solution? Pepper spray, a billy club, a gun?

Sometimes when people are so emaciated and in poor shape from self imposed substance abuse, it might be a little much to expect the medics to save them. People should start taking SOME responsibility for their own health.

According to an expert (there was a lengthy article in Readers' Digest several years ago) the only advantage to Organic produce is the taste, the nutrition is exactly the same and the cost is out of this world. Don't get sucked in by "organic", it's an old (and young) wives myth.
